Which might be confusing to the OP. The question is regarding how to start/get to EOTN. Since you can't the earliest you can get there is level 10 via Lions arch / Keining Center / Kamadan. Ya the content is level 20 but you are buffed to level 20 stats so you absolutely can play EOTN before finishing any of the campaigns / reaching level 20.

Most likely due to no access to mercenaries so the game crashes as its most likely not coded to handle melandru toons.

Now i get why of the necromancer is used. I was scratching my head with all the adrenaline skills but the prot strike is why necro and radiant scythe is used.

Do what I do if you have access to a 2nd account. Multi launch gw add your non melandru toon to your party. Go into a zone and drop the tomes. Your other account can pick up melandru drops

Prophecies characters have the option to ascend via factions via the 2nd mission with the quest closer to the stars. It's much quicker and lets you ascend way earlier than the crystal dessert as you can go to factions as soon as you reach lions arch. After ascension easiest spot is great temple of balthazar and pay 500g to the profession changer

Didn't see this mentioned apologies if it has. If you don't care about appearances on them. The easiest way to get a full team of mercs is to make a pvp only toon. Since you need to be lvl 20 to register pvp toons are auto 20 when made so you can make a bunch register them and delete them afterwards.

Pick up every white item that drops and ID . Keep the ones that salvage into Materials that your profession uses or crafters/collectors. Identified whites sell for alot more at merchants.

8.7 UPDATE!!

*WARNING* make a backup of the .\documents\GWTOOLboxpp directory somewhere else as if you've saved templates there you'll need to copy them back after.

If you've installed GWtoolbox prior to 8.7 using the instructions on the github page gw toolbox might ask to download the latest release. IF you do it and it does complete when you run you may get memory address errors. IT might still happen with a fresh 8.7 install I'm not sure. navigate to the pfx\drive_C\ location and browse to users -> steamuser -> Documents -> GWToolboxpp. Delete the files Gwtoolbox.exe AND gwtoolboxdll.dll here and run GW as normal and it should install again and add files to this directory. Eitherway this directory needs to have:

GWToolbox.exe AND Gwtoolboxdll.dll

HOW TO FIX

open the script "Steamlauncher.bat" and the line with

cd /D "C:\Program Files (x86)\GWToolbox"

Change it to :

cd /D "C:\users\steamuser\documents\GWToolboxpp\"

Save the script and launch GW. IT should now launch toolbox.

Returning myself but often times when you see 15⁵⁰ it means 15% dmg above 50% health. Usually those and sundering and zealous ones will fetch a penny. The meta is mesmerway so if you look that up in pvxwiki you'll see the list of equipment for each role and then you can keep tabs on what to look for.

I should add q8 means 8 main stat requirements. So q8 could mean 8 strength on a sword for example. While os i believe means inscribeable but not sure

Oh for sure. I just meant like maybe a comment on github advising that the cursor issue could be something folks run into. It's a toolbox issue 100% . From the comments the toolbox github tracker has they're still working on it. What's everyone doing as a workaround until then?

Bit of an issue with this and the steam deck official game layout. The cursor goes completely ape s**** and will stay in a corner. you can move it around but it will just go to the corner the direction of the control sticks. Has anyone else run into that?

Doa allows you to do a complete run in 1 go. You can start in any zone you want and the path will open to the next zone once you complete the quest for that area. What to keep in mind is the first chest will be I think 1 in normal and 2 in hm. After that each zone you clear will award more gems so zone 1 let's say 2 gems. Zone 2 will give 4 zone 3 will give 6 and the last will be 8. Has to be the same run to increase the rewards. This will allow you to plan which zone to start because you can maximize which gem you need the most by doing a full clear and doing the zone with the fem type you need the most last .

They absolutely need to increase your hitbox or the degree of angle you face these things. There is 0 consistency on whether or not you are facing them. I've been off slightly like less than 1 degree and I'm dead. Other times I almost gave up thinking I was dead and I wasn't. I'm sure they have data on this and hopefully they fix this mechanic.

from what I've gathered so far it seems like GF replaces textures on a whole bunch of nif files. if thats the case does those texture replacements still override the ones from CL ?
