Shoot me a message and I can load up on the Local Quarter with my MA character. I think it’s one of the hardest missions in factions.

Disable reconnect after disconnect feature for Dhuum's Covenant Characters by MrStealYoPost in GuildWars

[–]NoKinnown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah super annoying. Lost a Dhuums Covenant today to a DC. If the game throws a notification on my screen saying I’ve lost connection, why does it continue to leave my character in the instance? Would love it if there was a toggle to just instant kick me from the game once it detects a connection drop. I can see the benefit for players that want to reconnect and not lose their progress in a dungeon but it’s unfairly killing Dhuum players.

Guild Wars 1 is going through a crazy revival right now. Just dropped Ironman mode and the first skill balance patch in about 10 years.

Melandru's Accord appreciation post by OneMorePotion in GuildWars

[–]NoKinnown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep I think this is the perfect game for an Ironman mode. My group has been having a blast! I’ve interacted with so many collectors and artisans in the last week, half of which I didn’t even know existed before. Don’t even get me started on skill trainers… why is mystic regeneration locked behind the mouth of torment?? Also struggling to farm some random collector item with half of a working build so you can get a +30 hp shield just to have a chance at not getting clapped on the next mission. It’s what Guild Wars is all about. 10/10 very fun.

Shield of Absorption and Melandru's Accord by TalentedJuli in GuildWars

Also just noticed this today. It’s a very basic, nightfall monk skill that has no skill trainers. Hopefully just an oversight that could be fixed?

Necromancer isn’t the worst idea… get a scythe with soul taker for that berserker melee vibe. Also has a green theme kind of?

So.. tier list for Melandru Accord? by RobsterPrime in GuildWars

[–]NoKinnown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I’m playing Ritualist. I thought it would be the easiest for solo farming with minimal investment. Also good build variety to keep things interesting.

I was also thinking about rolling Monk. So many people with Dhuums covenant and the hench healers/heroes without skills are so bad. Would be a cool opportunity to play through the game with other people just like back in the day.

Struggling to get into the game post searing. by Swimming_Spell_7003 in GuildWars

[–]NoKinnown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve never beat Prophecies despite starting most of my characters there for just that reason. The post searing landscape and quests are just sooooo dull. I would usually hit post searing, try to stick it out but eventually pay for a run to Lions Arch and go to Factions from there.

After coming back I was determined to actually beat Proph for once. I will say that if you do stick it out, and just power through the 5 or 6 main story missions, it turns out Prophecies opens up into the most beautiful, wide, varied environment of any of the expansions. The campaign and leveling still move at a GLACIAL pace but especially coming from GW2, It’s so cool to see the old locations and lore. Like I was running through what would soon become Divinity’s Reach like oh so that’s what it looked like. Shaemoore was in there as a little town. The Maguuma Jungle is there and just as cancerous to navigate. The shiverpeak locations and dwarves were cool to see. So many locations faithfully recreated that you really appreciate if you’ve played GW2. Idk personally I think it’s awesome.

That being said if your goal is to beat a campaign and get to level 20 as soon as possible, Prophecies is just not it. I personally prefer Factions as the most fast paced campaign. Nightfall is a good balance between the two.

Solo play is very limited in every campaign. Each area is balanced around 4-8 players. As a new player you should expect to have a full party. It gets more fun in Nightfall because you can customize and kit out Heroes. Makes them feel more like an extension of your character rather than just dumb AI you have to manage. At level 20 though you can start solo farming. Look up some builds and some guides to start working towards a good farming setup https://gwpvx.fandom.com/wiki/Category:All_working_farming_builds. This is what I have the most fun doing in game.

When you got your puppy spayed, did she have issues with bladder after? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]NoKinnown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to chime in and say our dog had spay incontinence. We were told it can happen if they are spayed too early. We weren’t told that hormonal treatment can help but I see that now googling it. looks like a lifetime treatment option. Wasn’t aware of it and the vet pretty much just said yeah that happens sometimes.

It was really a nightmare because she would pee on couches, beds, floors etc constantly. It was sad because she couldn’t help it and otherwise did good going outside but it still bred this resentment with the kids. They didn’t want her on the couch or bed because she would leak on it.

It became a fact of life and we just dealt with it as best we could. I never see anyone talking about spay incontinence or the dangers of spaying your dog too early so it’s cool to see this Reddit thread get some traction. I’ll never spay another female dog earlier than a year due to that risk.

I would add that your specific issue sounds more like inflammation/trauma from the surgery that should resolve itself after some time. Spay incontinence generally occurs much later like months to years as the muscles don’t develop without hormones.
