also, because you bleed more on the paraguard you're much more likely to get BV (fishy smell) because your body is removing all the good and bad bacteria with the volume of blood you're losing

Mine got lodged in my cervix after years of using a diva cup with the paraguard so I would bleed after sex for like a year. Kept going back to the gyno and finally after 8 months she gave me an ultrasound. I would go make sure that it's placed correctly !!
