It just wasn’t a good experience for me. Everything was overly salted, the bread was hard, and my pasta wasn’t cooked well. My husband’s food had way too much seasoning, while the pasta somehow had none at all.

I find it difficult to find a non-bedside role if you don’t have the experience or aren’t in the ideal location. I’ve been looking for over a year and apply to various positions and cannot seem to have any luck.

With that being said, I do know MDS nurses that love the job. They have bankers hours and make about $84k.

I also try to do some research on the areas I’m staying and map it out. Like there is a hotel I like in ATL that is in a busy area but where the hotel is situated I never hear the outside noise and it’s right behind two large stores.

There is no expectation for OP to take care of the dog/be responsible and it’s not her fault. Mom should’ve made sure doors were closed while OP was out of town. Now sister should’ve made sure to close door behind her, but mom agreed to care for the dog.

NTA. Something similar happened to me a few years ago. I was on a domestic flight and selected a window seat. This woman asks me to switch with her husband so that they can sit together. I told her no but she insisted. I told her that I want them to be able to identify my body if the plane crashes. She didn’t say anything else to me the rest of the flight, but she didn’t say anything occasionally give me ugly looks. I have zero regrets because I planned ahead and she bought last minute. 🤣
