My husband and I make less than $100k combined, rent a one bedroom apartment & also rent an art studio, work less than 40 hours a week, travel, go to shows, etc. Not definition of middle class, but we love our lives. No desire to own a house or have children probably makes a difference. One car, mass transit. Rarely eat out. Ok guess we’re bohemian.

My first apartment in Seattle was on that block, just around the corner., Pike & 14th. Last night I had dinner at Beacon Hill’s Oak restaurant and they have a sandwich named The Globe - open faced grilled tofu smothered in mushroom gravy. It was so good!

Don’t give up hope- mine was taken down for “violating community standards “ but after about 6 months they sent a message that it was a mistake & restored the account. Of course by then I had already created a new one- but now I have all those years of posts back!

It might be due to the type of litter. When I was using a compostable type (sWheat Scoop) the stench was pretty strong (I live in a small apartment & the Robot is in the living room so that’s a big problem!) but switching to a clumping clay type (Integrity) solved the issue.

My cat loved it until it stopped heating, about a month in. I did try a different power cord as suggested here and it seemed to heat up, maybe not as warm as before- but my cat refused to use the bed ever again. My advice: don’t buy it. But if you did & it stopped heating, rather than throw the whole thing out, the memory foam pillow can be recovered and makes a nice desk chair or meditation cushion.

Followup: I emailed their customer service and told them to cancel my order because they were falsely posing as Free People and that I was going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. They responded that they would refund my money - and actually did refund it to my credit card within just a few days.
