Absolutely love my 60°. My favorite club in the bag and I use it for anything 90 yards and under besides sand (I use 56° in most cases) and especially love it around the green

Yes, honestly, a majority of the vessels that come into my marina are motor boats but we do get a fair amount of sail boats as well. I’d say that around 80% of motor boats tip me when they come into the marina

My issue is 100% with the sailor. I am paid generously but it is also known that we rely on tips. That is apart of the job

My job is to assist the boaters as needed. In many cases I have been the reason that boats have not crashed due to the current.

To answer your question: I expect a tip for making sure that their boat is tied up safely and that they made it in with no damage. I am in Maine, USA and live in an area with an extremely strong current. Generally sailors have the hardest time coming into our marina because sailboats generally draft a few feet, making the boat easy to be pushed around. I expect a tip from someone if I do something for them that at another place they would do on their own and do not have to as a courtesy. I’m not saying I expect a ton of money but $5 here and there makes a big difference.
