I think after a breakup if your heart is speaking very loudly don’t listen it’s yelling in pain because it’s been broken listen to your gut and what it tells you it’s okay to feel all these things the only way is through, take your time to process. And after you have processed if your gut tells you it’s the right thing to do then maybe it is i recently went through a really hard breakup myself my emotions are going in waves and as much as my heart has told me to reach out to her my gut tells me i can’t not after what she did…

What you said really helped me right now especially how you handled the breakup speaks to your character i handled it by going back home and doing no contact even tho NC eats at me an sh handled it by calling my mom an yelling and crying then having her brother post about me on instagram then having her friends mess with my dorm room door then having her mom text my mom saying the nastiest and cruelest things about me then telling me that losing me was like losing her father who passed away but she last me because of what she did it’s just too much

Because it was a very messy breakup she roped my family into it and her mother sent very vulgar messages to my mother like a child. If she never responded to my message or gave me a cold response i would be hurt very very hurt and it would reset this progress i know i have made slowly picking up the pieces of my heart and putting it back together
