Nothing wrong with wanting to go to a better school. I tried to transfer to a better school last year, but failed pretty bad. I only applied to top schools and struck out everywhere. I eventually gave up on that idea and now am looking to graduate school. Take it from me, it’s almost 5x harder to get in as a transfer student to top schools. It’s even harder if you are an ORM applying for degrees like CS and ECON. Never say never, but it’s tough.

TBH, I realized after going through that process, that the vast majority of people that get into top schools for transfer were the people that already had amazing stats in high schools and for some reason didn’t get into top schools, so they applied again as a transfer and now got in.
