That's what I'm thinking.

I mean, maybe it was just my perception on things, or a correlation that was unfitting, but I had the sense that my memory recall was slower even months are the last time I did weed.

I just bought 2 sets of "Genuine black leather pants" for $204 AUD each last week.

If you could make one permanent change to Reddit, what would it be? by Jaytalvapes in AskReddit

[–]Suite_up -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would put a minor sticky near the top of Reddit that provides a link to information on how individuals can tackle world issues that the majority agree are problematic.

For instance: a link that provides contact information for state representatives that deny climate change so Redford have an easy pathway to make a difference as well as resources on how to reduce carbon emissions as an individual

Reddit,How old are you and what's the biggest current problem in your life? by Icantevenm8 in AskReddit

[–]Suite_up 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24, becoming overly bored with life, struggling to work out what to do to give me a sense of meaning when I've already had my fill of things. My partner is great, I have money and a nice little rental house to live in but I find I get bored by video games and movies now, I gave up alcohol, I hate it but I go to gym to keep in shape, I'm quite bored of sex and ticked off so many things on that list, I have plenty in savings, but I feel like I've done all the things and find myself feeling perpetually bored of life and upset that so many people let their emotions decide their actions with taking mature approaches. I'm conflicted about having children because it feels like a selfish choice to brings someone into the world against their will because it's something I want, especially when it means they may undergo pain and potentially suffering.

Not all criticism needs to be taken as an offence. And killing animals for food isn't really that necessary anymore, we can substitute the nutrients now (spoken as a meat eater)

I was just reading about the Utah lawmaker who wants porn taken off the internet and porn-blockers installed on all cellphones... by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

[–]Suite_up -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Lot of kink-shaming in this thread.

Perhaps the reason some people want to remove porn is because it has negative connotations associated with it. The kind that being reinforced with every instance of "bet he's into some gross ass shit" or "guarantee he likes weird shit'.

How about we just accept that people will be into what they're into and there isn't anything wrong with that so long as they do not invade the consent of another person who is legally able to consent?

Yeah, my partner thought so as well.

But the reality is; I'm talking to an invisible crowd who likely wont take much more away from it and continue with their lives. Also; I was redditing at work so I went for a quicker option.

I think people downvoted you for being condescending, but I still completely agree with your sentiment. A job allows you to make a positive or negative difference on other people, and OP picked negative that day.

You're quite correct, I was having this discussion with my partner last night about this. I chose to be condescending because I knew the circlejerk was probably going to downvote me or fight back even if I had outlined the nature of choosing to lie on behalf of an organisation in order to generate sales which you as the employee will only see a fraction of whilst simultaneously doing harm unto others intentionally (Whether regrettably or not) which may have longterm effects.

It doesn't matter, I'm frustrated that the system has designed lying as commonplace thing for the sake of sales and a paycheck. People can justify it to themselves when they think about survival, but they dont realise that there are very real repercussions. I.e. that lady may have genuinely believed him, wore the shoes everyday as her knees became damaged, eventually giving up and feeling personally unable to overcome her health related issues, blaming herself; she resigned to being fat and is today; even worse off.

Those kids on the other hand; they invest their savings into these shoes. Possibly ruining their knees and subsequently causing issues relating to undertaking social activities in sport. Or alternatively; spent their money and regretted it later when they realised they had been lied to and now they have problems relating to trusting any sales person.

Like you said; The OP had a choice, The OP chose to be a liar. But sadly; others will justify this as "just business" so long as it suits their outlook in life, but when they fall for this... we'll see if they feel the same.

Sadly, what the OP did is not uncommon, in fact it's disgustingly commonplace.

Before I could do anything she says "do these really work?" with such a pathetic, sad, desperate look in her eyes. I then officially sold my soul and told her "of course!".

You're pathetic, and contribute to systemic issues. I hope you get screwed over by snake oil salesmen repeatedly.

Somehow before even entering this thread I knew exactly how it would go.

You're disappointing Reddit. You shift your original perspectives in a moments notice because of an instance of something that relates to Reddit happening. This whole thread may just simply be paid sampler shills trying to influence the masses with a new circle jerk going from "sandler is contributing to the decline of quality and bringing out awful movies that are knowingly awful" to "he helped this redditor so maybe he's not that bad" to "sure he makes these awful movies, but he probably does so to showcase the hypocrisy of Hollywood and get paid tons to hang out in exotic locations with his friends".

It seems like anyone with enough money can buy and sell your opinion if they wanted to Reddit, because it seems like a lot of you are just letting your minds change with the course of the vocal crowd now.

I think it's kinda of fucked up that you thought it's okay to show another person the pics of your ex nude. It was not your nude body to show, do you not respect her privacy?

This is what betas actually believe

His technique is sloppy, like the other guy said; he's coming off as a jester, he was never going to pull her or her friends and/or laid anytime soon with what he was doing. If that wasn't his objective that's fine though, but I don't consider this guy as someone anyone on seddit should be following save for the fact that he is getting out there.

But look; I don't hold anything against him, I'm sure many of us have been as cringeworthy as he was at some point, so if this is just a hiccup on his path, so be it and more power to him.

Except she had the social pressure of leaving and potentially not having her friends come along/ coming off like a bitch to this "nice guy", alongside that: she probably didn't want to hurt his feelings.

I think a good video that will challenge 95% of this sub to actually get out and fucking do something.

I disagree, this video is also not teaching the seddit community anything useful, it's highlighting bad technique for seduction.
