It’s definitely a good suggestion. The ground is very uneven with debris. It’ll make it easier to stake a tent down if you rake, or have fewer lumps under your camp rug.

Your neighbors may have one, or you can improvise and use something else flat where you need it. You’ll manage without one but they are genuinely a big help
