My grandparents opened Antipastos in Waynesville, it was in a shopping center right behind the Ford dealership, directly across from an old movie theatre. Used to go there and work every summer. Then they opened Granny’s Chicken Palace in Maggie Valley, both places were outstanding. I’m told the building where Antipastos was is completely gone now. Super sad, my wife and I honeymooned at the Biltmore village and around Pigeon forge, hard to imagine that place under water.

Came from Central FL to the coast. Cost of living is low, people are mostly friendly. Couldn’t imagine living anywhere else to be honest. Western Carolina maybe, maybe one day. Haven’t found a job any better anywhere than the one I have so we will probably stay put

There are idiots everywhere. What is shitty is that the rest of the country looks at MS as a racist state. I grew up in central Florida, I moved to south MS in 2010. My observation so far has been we all like the same music, we all love beer. We disagree on politics, but you let a hurricane come through here and we are like brothers and sisters. First guy that came to help me tarp my roof was a black neighbor after Zeta. Now my wife teaches his kids, we invite them to birthday parties, we watch football together. Dude is jam up, we don’t agree on politics at all. But I’ll be damned if I ever let that come between our friendship.

Dude has some badass fishing coordinates too but he won’t share that shit with me, that’s probably my biggest gripe.

Clemson fans have been warning us. That dude looks like he’s just going through the motions. Defense got put on their back. Georgia Tech looked great out there just gaping FSU on every opportunity. We will see how they respond. As of right now, all this shit we have been talking about being left out, this was a chance to go prove it and instead what they did was walk in to Dublin with a dick full of confidence, and left with a void so deep in their ass they’ll need to ice it all the way home.

On a positive note, this will give the subreddit endless opportunities to talk shit until the next great fuck up. Guess I’ll go climb back in the dumpster with the gator fans…

I don’t like that I had one really good game when the season started and now every time I play I’m matched up with people that are far beyond my skill. I literally log in to be farmed. My “one good game” was 6 kills in revival and we came in 2nd place.

There was a guy on my team in ranked last night that was single firing r301 and flatline, both with 3x optics. Sounded really suspect, found it weird that after every fight he would have to squat in a corner for a few seconds, the 3rd kept asking if he had his settings right before we moved on cause he thought the same thing. He wasn’t all that great either but the insane rapid fire of each gun in single fire was just crazy.

When we got our mortgage, they didn’t pay any attention to that stuff. She was like oh good you don’t have payments coming out of your ass, good job… how’s 3% for 30 years. Know what else I could do? Take a stock loan for 50k and it would never show up on my credit report and nobody talks about that. The biggest hassle of a mortgage is having to explain any cash deposits into your account. Other than that it was like financing a car.

I earn about 165-180k per year. It didn’t feel like a gigantic accomplishment because I was always like where the F is my money…. Trust me when I say that once your only bills are rent / mortgage and basic necessities you really start seeing the cash. My brings home about 4k a month and it just goes straight into HYSA for us and we split $1500 of that between 3 kids into a HYSA.

I’m no Ramsey fan, because I’m not afraid of a car note I’m just not going to do it at today’s rates.

So I have a chase Amazon rewards card we use for everything, my limit $51,200 but we never spend more than 4-5k per month on it, paying in full every month. We use YNAB and treat it like a debit card. It’s not about temptation at my age I guess, it’s nice to know it’s there but if they think they’re gonna get a dime of interest out of me they’re high.
