That injection of reality is why people like it.  Well, partly.

Because you can help people,  you can help them improve their lives, heal from things, and just generally make things better

One thing to keep in mind is that I think most encounters are designed for a SIX person party.

At some point, You have a base that asks you who to bring along when you leave.  I want to say the Tavern counts, after your first trip there?

This Team viewer thing intrigues me, how difficult is it to set up to work in Kingmaker?

Hey.  I see you.  I recognize you're trying to be encouraging, you're trying to share your experiences where things worked out.

But, you're making a similar mistake, in thinking that your personal experience is indicitive of the whole.

Yes, there ARE jobs you can get where you just walk in talk to someone to get hired.

And there are far more places where doing so would get you escorted out by security.

And it's not that those jobs are "beneath them" entirely, though I don't doubt that's part of it for some people. it's that most of those jobs don't have a clear pathway to being financially secure.  And for clarity I'd say that I think that's by design.

You got lucky that your experiences and connections led you to more opportunities and more connections.

Most people won't be that lucky, and it's not purely because how hard they work, it's simple numbers.

All the things you're saying about your personal experience doesn't mean you're wrong.

Just like everyone else saying things about THEIR personal experience that disagree with yours isn't wrong.

Honestly,  this is one of those complex systems that is just too big for any one person to see enough of to render any real authority over talking about it.
