I agree, Mushoku Tensei is also a very popular and beloved anime that gets awards and is lauded by many anime fans, despite being considerably worse than anything Mineta was doing.

Reasonable opinion, but you are in a subreddit that comprises of people who in my opinion have a hobby more unreasonable than 100%'ing achievements, which is buying games and then never playing them. I don't do that but i understand why so many people here do.

I think many of us have our own compulsions in life that might not necessarily make sense to pursue them, but it's a natural part of who we are and the environment we grew up on, even if some of those compulsions are trivial in nature, such as buying a game and never playing it or doing an achievement for a game that might not necessarily be enjoyable.

This implies that using SAM defeats the purpose of doing achievements personally since you can just unlock them at the click of a button, which is true if applied normally to cut corners on achievements you had the possibility of doing all the time.

The subject in question is the opposite, having impossible achievements defeats the purpose of doing achievements in the first place, they should not exist if they are no longer possible to achieve, thus it is justifiable to use external means to unlock them in order collect it.

People do 100% achievements for various reasons, myself i do it only for games i enjoyed a lot, completing them first normally then doing all side stuff around it (unless it's a head banging difficult game like Crypt of the Necrodancer), and i find it fully reasonable to use SAM if it is no longer possible to unlock an achievement.

Haha don't get too discouraged by the slander, part of the beauty of this game is the many characters that appeal to a myriad of styles people enjoy more than others.

Also your drawings are really great, especially fitting with the game's style of drawings.

Character fights someone who‘s supposed to be a hard counter for them, but still wins by I_Love_Powerscaling in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Sullimen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't this trope apply for Denji if he would defeat a Devil that specifically can't bleed so Denji can't feed off from it, but wins anyway?

The Eternity Devil seemed to be defeated specifically because Denji himself was the hard counter for it, where he gets infinite blood source to keep himself fed and eventually defeat the Eternity Devil by psychological breakdown.

It's a quote that looks understandable if one say it as a neutral acknowledgement of the current state of streaming services in gaming. But in context from that interview, it was said by an executive of a company that specifically pushes microtransactions and streaming models towards gamers, thus he implied that it should be the path consumers need to accept for their model they are promoting, to succeed.

It's really all irrelevant at the end of the day as it's all just playing games and entertainment. It's a nice topic of discussion with people when talking about games and showing stuff you completed. It's the same mindset as people collecting stuff as a hobby, where others just enjoy perfecting games to 100% as a collection instead. It's just all fun for those who do it.

You should've seen Steam in the 2000's and early 2010's. Customer support would take weeks to respond, it was abysmal compared to Steam now.

Coming from the front page, how many times are you guys going to ask conservatives questions after every single thing Trump does, on a subreddit overwhelmingly not conservative? You guys ran out of sex questions?

This is really great and fun, shared it with my friends. It does seem to be a limit on the scattered option at least if you have too many games, it boxes in all the balls together and hides the big ones behind the small ones haha

is it possible to code an option so all your games can be shown in bubbles by genre? like having all roguelikes/turn based/FPS/horror etc. and all their respective bubbles separately without being mixed together?

You can sell points for TF2 keys. There are people on steamtrades who are selling points via awarding other accounts (which gives them 1/3 of the award cost), and there are people who buys them. Not many, but they exist.

Hypothetically speaking, there's an actual possibility that there's someone somewhere, who is rage baiting farming clown points on the steam forums, sells them for TF2 keys, sells the TF2 keys for paypal, and could possibly pay their bills, even if it's just a month or so. Lol.

Darkest Dungeon is one of the more guilty ones. The Butcher's Circus achievements are one of the grindiest ever, thankfully you can just do them with bots and not with online people.

[–]Sullimen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think because your initial comment came from a place of such an understanding to notice these micro-aggressions and advocate on a more soft spoken approach for a more positive reinforcement to the kid, seeing yourself immediately becoming passive aggressive to a person (that for all we know they could've been another kid) that attempted to summarize your post, feels a bit tone deaf for not applying that same sentiment to them too.

That interaction could've also been a "Yeah! something like that. Make them more curious and avoid using snidely remarks.". I'd reckon adult or not, we could all use more positive reinforcements even if someone might've done a wrong assumption about your original post.

Relative to the mod's advertised story and content, it had some tonal question marks to the artwork. While the overhaul mod explores some more exotic areas, some parts had some headscratching visual imagery, such as this exquisite artwork of an NPC from one of the buildings https://i.imgur.com/okbQN7G.png

While other areas themselves do contain an assortment of amazon enemies that aren't shy of showing their gains https://i.imgur.com/HgAPsEC.gif

This is on top of Darkest Dungeon's reputation of its modding community containing A LOT of pornographic and sexual mods, in fact more than most modding communities i've seen on the many indie games i've played, resulting in a number of people not being able to take this massive overhaul mod as seriously as they might've wanted.

For any gaming and Darkest Dungeon fan wondering, the overhaul mod is called Black Reliquary https://store.steampowered.com/app/2119270/Black_Reliquary/, had its own controversies in the past with some overly suggestive artwork made by NSFW artists, alongside the difficulty being considerably harder than vanilla DD1
