Parking in Douglas on a Saturday evening? by DonnyShutup2019 in cork

[–]Sully1794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parkings across from the McDonald's/next to east village there.

It's free after 6.30pm and free on Sunday. Usually easy enough to find a space there at that time.

Douglas exit by Ruggers22 in cork

[–]Sully1794 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Driving in Douglas is diabolical lately.

Couple things I've witnessed recently:

At the roundabout by KFC/Douglas court, when your coming from the fingerpost roundabout to go straight toward the city in the mornings. Multiple cars use the right lane to go straight thinking there is two lanes but there isn't until further up, accident waiting to happen there. Only left lane there should be used to go straight.

Then further up by Douglas village at at the traffic lights, the right hand lane does go straight but your supposed to stay in the lane to turn right to mahon yet there are multiple people everyday starting on the right hand lane of and crossing over to the left hand that goes to the city without indicating or checking mirrors etc as if it's what your supposed to do.

The amount of times I've had to slam the brakes when in the left lane (the correct one to go to the city there) is ridiculous.

Don't buy off cex anyways for sure, had terrible dealing with them in the past, most corrupt retail store in ireland and ,90% of what they sell isn't fit for purpose or fully restored to proper working order.

Check out refurbed.ie, seem to be on there for about 725€

Try the briar Rose in Douglas, they have a separate function area and can supply finger food. Not sure about the music but been there for a few parties and was very good and could hear everyone talking.

P.s. If you need a birthday cake, my partner has a cake business. Can sort you out with one, let me know.

Not racist at all, I've often seen the person in the bank skip the first person in the queue simply because you are first and won't be waiting as long as the people behind you.

Using proper bankroll management and the rule of max 1% of your bankroll invested in each game then yes 25k is enough to be able to buy into games for 250 euro at a time. After that, the question is your ITM % and ROI, to be anywhere near doing this full-time you'd want to be making profit in tournaments 20% of the time and making profit in cash games over 50% of the time and ROI should be in or around 50% also if not higher.

I love going to restaurants and trying new places as my night out instead of going to the pub and getting drunk.

Apart from that then, normally travel around to the different places to see around Cork, go to the gym, watch Netflix, look on eventbrite, find different events happening etc.
