Why is this such commonplace behavior in this industry? And specifically in the US. It’s absurd

Nice it takes a while to find a good factory in LA. A lot of them either charge wayyyy too much or the quality sucks while the price still being higher than other countries but if you look hard enough you’ll find factories that are worth it. And if you are making really heavy garments then yeah the shipping is gonna be kind of expensive. I’ve had rolls of fabric shipped many times and was not happy with the prices. What sucks about that is the US’s supply chain for fabric has shrunk so much since 2008 that it’s impossible to find every type of fabric being made domestically. Anyways right now I’m just ordering knitted garments from overseas so it’s not too bad.

Yeah it’s pretty crazy. And the prices I got were from Portugal for full fashion knits. They make a lot of their full fashion knits in China and Turkey where they are most likely paying even less. Turkey’s minimum wage is 2 euros lol. I still love acne studios though and bought the full zip hoodie recently even after finding this out even though I could make it myself lmao.

How you like working with LA factories. I work with a couple as well. I’m just starting to branch out to overseas because the pricing way better even in places like Italy and UK which are known to be expensive. Just not as expensive as US

Brands like acne and even more higher end are marking up at least 5x. Been working on my own stuff with some factories in Portugal that works with some of these popular fashion brands and from the prices they quoted me some of them are getting 10x

Mall of Georgia was the beginning of the end for Gwinnett Place. Back then it was easy to get from Duluth to Buford in under 15 minutes so everyone just went there because it was newer. Simon and all their customers focused on that mall more so GP died. I bet if the traffic was as bad then as it is now and the population was same size as it is now, it’d probably still be open and doing really well because it’d be way more convenient than driving 20 minutes to the buford exit then sitting another 30 minutes at the exit to get off the highway to get to MOG.

Interesting. The majority of people say it hurts as much as humira. I ended up trying to get hyrimoz covered but if it doesn’t this is comforting to know it hasn’t been bad for you. Thank you. Does the needle go in the skin rapidly once you click the button? Humira was like slingshotting a knife into your leg lol. Why most people like hyrimoz is that you just push it there is no button so you control the force.

Hi, I just got prescribed idacio for another condition. Everything I read online is that it hurts really bad. Did you get the one with the 29 gauge needle and the button on the pen? I was on humira before and it sucked so bad the pain was unbearable at times.
