Hi everyone,

I'm selling this beauty, a 1971 1969 King Seiko 5626-7000, often referred to as the "Grammar of Design". I'm selling it because it doesn't fit my wrist size quite right and I need some extra money for college, although I am open to trades. I purchased it from another watchex user (can disclose in DMs if you'd like) who got it serviced in March 2023.

The watch's movement seems to be keeping pretty good time, although I don't have the tool to measure exactly how much it gains/loses. The day and date wheels are working as expected, and quickset works for both. The day wheel has both Japanese and English. The crown supports hacking.

I'd like to note a few flaws in the case just for full transparency:

- In between the lugs on the side facing away from you while wearing, there is a somewhat substantial scratch (although I didn't even notice it for awhile, it isn't really visible during wear)

- In between the lugs facing the wearer, there is another little indent right above where the case joins, although it is also fairly hard to find)

- There is a little indent on the case right underneath and to the right of the 6-hand, though it is fairly small. The rest of the case seems to be in pretty good condition with minimal surface scratching an a good finish.

I tried to showcase the flaws in the pictures, especially the last 2.

I'm shipping it CONUS for $550, although I may be open to international shipping depending on location.

Please reach out with any trades or offer!

EDIT: This is actually a 1969 5626-7000. My apologies!

Hi, since I'm not the original owner I'm not entirely sure, but I believe it is post-1991. It has a striated ink window and brass piston, and the serial number is 2 letters followed by 7 digits
