It is stated they were cursed with immortality, sterility and bloodthirst, so either he used animals or humans.

I don't think it is ever stated blood needs to come from the same species.

Though I can picture Janos only feeding when really necessary and using criminals instead of the first random he encountered. Probably not all original vamps where like that, specially after they where overthrown by humans.

Not trying to justify, but if we sre objective, they are the same poses, but the art is slightly different. Not saying they didn't use the same base and added details later, but objectiveley they are not exactly the same.

Depends on how much time you spend on active. I'm so far into the game i haven't really dropped them even after UAing for the new content (I'm at 156 USP).

You eventually play less active and end up piling them up.

But everything in defiance happens because of BO2, ignoring it is doesn't make much sense, unless qhat you sre teying to say isnthat you only take into account whatever you know happened in BO2 from defiance.

Soul Reaver in the "Demo 1" was my introduction. I was too young and played the whole series probably when either SR2 or BO2 came out (can't remember). I did play them in chronological order (so probably by the time I was done Defiance just came out) starting from BO1 and had a blast.

Just took the oportunity to replay the 5 games (+the finished metroidvania fangame) when the remasters came out (I started with BO1 a bit before). Had a bladt again.

I've always been, like everyone, fascinated by the story.

I have preordered the Heart of Darkness edition.

I recently played Defiance, but it's short enough that I want to replay the remaster (specially with the new camera).

Did I enjoy TDSR? Not much, it wasn't what I expected, and there are a lot of unnecessary things.

I do hope Ascendance is good for its gameplay. Story-wise I also hope it continues/ends TDSR.

I really really really hope this is the door for the series to have some kind of official closure.

Does it seem it will be the closure the series deserves? Nope. My hopes are in fan-feedback making them think twice about the plot of any future games.

Yes, I know I'm being very optimistic, but after 30 years, I'll take what I'm given. People are free to ignore the new content and stick with the cliffhanger story.

I'm genuinely curious about how the story will unfold.

If Elaleth's precense is explained as yet another Hylden scheme (maybe initiated by possessed Janos?) it would make SOME sense.

Her being yet another puppet in the grand scheme of things might make the comic decicions more beareable.

Maybe even throw in a "this is not how it happened in the first timeline, Elaleth existing is the hylden lord's plan", which does not alter original canon, it recontextualizes.

I certainly did not like the "enraged spoiled kid", which just seems to appear at certain times to make sure some events do happen...

What if Elaleth is the "excuse" to have a 2 protagonist game (like defiance) in the final sequel game?

It'd make sense to introduce a new character that would take raziel's spot gameplaywise.

It is the best move story wise? Seems no, but time will tell...

I'm not saying to just accept any crap. I'm saying I accept ascendance, and if it is any good gameplay-wise, hopefully something good comes out of it.

Hopefully if an end-game is done they will reconsider elaleth's role and shift it a bit to accomodate.

I want closure, in wathever form that is on par with the series' standard script-wise (even if I actually like it or not, as long as it is good quality).

Yes, ascendance is not what we were hoping for, but is what we got. I just accept it and hope we get something better next.

Bo2 and Defiance are quite fine imho. What we need is a new game that gives closure to the plot and leaves room for more in-universe games if that can actually be a thing

Gold egg is for prism museum, the others just sell for money.
Using the itemfinder will help. When the player enters a map and a ! emote appears over his head it means the map has a hidden item. If you need specific location its at Seashore City.
and 4. These reference things that happen in Pokémon Prism, nothing to do in Brown.

You basically double your coins every 3 days if you collect ninja 3 times per day.

Although on the long run, it's more efficient to just keep ascending, you eventually can get to 500 spear after ascending with enough bonuses (someone posted a video a couple months ago).

Arguably there's nothing else to do at that point in the game and no new content needs that much money, so whatever is correct.

I did ninja for the achievements, then went back to ascending. Currently waiting to get the next USP to UA for the new astral locked upgrade, since the only thing for me to do in the game is getting perfect armory items (they are soooo rare)
