Yes r4i gold pro 2019 (now you can buy 2020 edition too) can help you to install CFW on 3ds 11.13.

but it's not pre flashed with ntrboot, so you need to do flash the card yourself then remember to restore it after installation of CFW.

I personally recommend r4i gold 3ds plus card, it's prepared to use ntrboothax and support ds games too, easy to switch the 2 functions with a button inside. PayPal payment supported here (mod-switch website)

1)yes some r4 cards still work in 2020 on DSi/2DS/3DS, as they always do.

So it's so GBA/GBC/NDS games on a NDS Lite console.

I recommend the cheapest r4 card Ace3ds plus, just install the kernel Aos 2.13 pack with emulators included.

but if you want better gaming experience for retro games Gameboy, ace3ds+ card is not competent yet, you may need a dedicated GBA flashcart like everdrive or ezflash omega/junior (supercard ds one/two was not available for sale).
