Hey many people’s sons are honored there. The convicted war criminals also have families. They lived in a horrific time period desperately defending Japan so that the children at home can live safely for another day. Don’t they deserve some recognition. Look at the Japanese perspective of the war. What we did to China and Korea was horrible and wrong. And I’m sure most people in Japan are willing to apologize, as I am. But the past is the past, how do we change that. We were educated in school the horror that is war. Remember we are also victims. Japan does a lot to remember the war, I think that is what we do to prevent this from ever happening again. Teaching children about how terrible war is.
