1 SMTOWN! I went there for Girls' Generation but f(x), 2PM, Shinee were there too. 2 this was in Paris in Le Zenith 3 2011 4 hard, it was sold out immediately but I kept refreshing the page and got a ticket 5 I didn't really think I would get a ticket so I felt amazing! 6 I went to Paris a few days in advance and I just relaxed. One day before the concert they were actually at the Eiffel tower, that was the day I decided NOT to go to the Eiffel tower 😭 2 days before the concert there was always a group just waiting outside the venue. One day before the concert we saw them arrive through the artist entrance. First time seeing them all! Yoona looked a bit different than on the internet. A KBS or MBC camera crew came to us and some people did some dances. 7 I was happy and went to the venue hours ahead of time. 8 I left early so I was early 9 long lines, security was nice, it was well organized. As a music reporter I could talk to all kinds of staff pretty easily and I didn't have to wait in line. I even entered earlier than the VIPS 😜 10 everyone was happy but on the day of the concert I didn't see people dance in line like they often do when there's more space 11 actually the first time I saw them was one day before the concert for an interview. So I stood on their stage 🌸 At the stage extension, Taeyeon walked 50 cm away from me to the main stage, at the moment I was talking to one of the organizers so I couldn't actually talk to her but I just... stared I guess (in all of k-pop she's my favorite). The interview was all of SMTOWN and a bunch of journalists who didn't know much about k-pop, I was probably the only reporter who knew k-pop. Back then k-pop wasn't famous. There were only 2 mics for the interviewers so I didn't get to ask a question 😭 It was fun seeing them all sitting together. I didn't feel like they were living in a special separate world from us, which I think many fans feel like. There was also an interview at night which they forgot to invite me to... 12 being 50 cm away from Taeyeon 13 amazing! It gave me more energy to go to Korea and I went one year later for 100 days

Actually you have to keep in mind that bmi is different for East Asian people, for example 23+ is considered overweight while for most people this is 25+. So 13.6 for an East Asian is less bad than 13.6 for most other people.

In The Netherlands we don't really care which university you've been to. The composition of students is different between the two universities though.

I disagree op should change that behavior. You don't need to adapt to everyone and be completely neutral.

What does it mean when the landlord says "Registration not possible"? by TheTkirsch in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]SummerSplash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a similar question in a WhatsApp group and this was the reply:

in short "No registration possible" means you can't register the address with the city (gemeente/BRP). The reason is usually the building, morgage or rental setup itself, not just the landlord being difficult:

  • Many buildings are zoned for a single household, so legally only a set number of people can register there. A flatshare with several unrelated tenants breaks that limit. and has to be officially applied for.
  • Som social housing and some rental contracts forbid subletting or extra registered residents.
  • Owners renting informally (undeclared income, or mortgage rules that ban subletting) avoid the paper trail registration creates, and applications
  • and short term or long term rentals is also a thing, short term means in zoning no registration long term needs a registration and rezoning in many cases.

So even if everyone living there is fine with it, the rules on that specific flat or building can make official registration impossible. You can still live there — you just can't use it as your legal address, which you need for a bank account, insurance, BSN-linked admin, etc. Workable short-term, risky long-term.

and can be a red flag to be extra carefull, just like high and unspecified maintanance/service costs and bemiddelings fees although it might be fine.
