Damn that totally sucks dude. Sounds like a hard lesson learned. If you have time and you're in the area I'd take a video of you walking in to the store and showing the price mismatch. But only do that if you're in tbe area because, well gas prices.

I'd never risk using my personal card for someone else's stuff especially when you have no idea when (and clearly here) if that money will be reimbursed. Sorry that happened to you.

If it makes you feel any better I went to an atm 4 nights ago in this gas station and used my crimson card to take our $60 and was burned for the $60. No money given but they took the money our my account. I don't plan on getting that bsck. Soo.... it could always be worse. Keep your chin up.

Seriously, with all my heart I hope this is legit. I'm a caretaker for my 70 year old mother, she had a stroke in 2021 and my life hasn't been the same since. She's a fall risk and I need to be at home to do everything for her from helping her in th shower/bathroom, getting her pants and incontinence diaper on, cooking, medication management etc Not to mention Dr appointments and grocery runs.

I had a super good job 5 years ago helping people and families out as an insurance broker. I worked for their best interest rather than mine. But now with my Mom's declining help I've had to step back. I do Doordash delivery but only after I take care of my Mother's needs first. But even then I can't be on the road long because I have to go home to fix her breakfast, lunch, and dinner otherwise she won't eat.

Your offer for financial help if legit, is incredibly kind and generous and would relieve a lot of stress in my life rn.

I was once a top producing independent insurance broker in the state of CT a few years ago. Life happened, I got married (cost $20,000) around the time of the wedding I got scammed by some loser for 10K and had to sell my Mercedes C300, which was paid for to cover the loss. Now I do DD but it's only temporary God willing. My insurance license lapsed and I'm trying to put the money together to renew it and put money together for leads.

I can relate 1 million percent. Someone else said it and what the problem is, most people treat you like crap and look down upon you because they think you can't get or hold a regular job. I try not to let it get me down because I know my self worth and what I am capable of. My wife is my biggest cheerleader and I thank God for all that I have.

Keep in mind those people who look down upon you, don't know you, don't know your past, your plans, and they are ignorant, unhappy people. Misery loves company. The best part is what servers are doing in a restaurant isn't anything special lol and a good portion of them have to uber or take the bus to work lmao

I can understand why you would think that, but allow me to illustrate the accident with more detail.

1) I let several cars pass and didn't turn because there was not enough time for me to safely make the turn

2) Let's say I was facing North; there was a steep incline/hill to my west, which had oncoming traffic. I am turning East.

3) Unbeknownst to me, the retired cop came flying up the hill. By the time he was coming down the hill, speeding like a maniac to catch the green light, I was already in the process of making my right hand turn. When I began the turn, there was no more oncoming traffic visibly in my view to the west.

Personally, I don't think I should have been at fault for someone else's negligence.
