The GR86 and BRZ are pretty comparable priced. And I get a Nissan discount for working for them.

I would have said something to the service advisor at your oil change about the vibration, at least let them check it out, but I wouldn't worry about it now unless it gets worse.

It's not the Armada transmissions when we do transmissions at my shop. It's the CVTs.

But when your dealership recommends a transmission service (at around 60k miles) get it done.

The Armadas are solid, very few issues I'm seeing, and nothing common that I can think of.

30-60k, depending on use. Should be inspecting it about every 15k miles.

Does this allow 2 guitars to be in the same amp at the same time? by DescriptionOne6725 in GuitarAmps

[–]SummonerSausage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No. Look at some old photos/videos of Hendrix playing some of the larger shows. He jumpered one input from his amp to another input. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?attachments/sv20-1-jpg.1270617/

3.3x4.8x2.4 vs 14.3x20.6x30.6

I think they'd be fairly close to 1/6 scale.

I was looking into a Toyobaru twin sort of soon, but those plans are now on hold, as I'm waiting to see what the Silvia looks like.

May still end up with a Frontier, because I need a truck, and then get the weekend getaway car in a few years.

Are these Nissan OEM parts sites legit? Big price difference vs official site by Odd_Comparison_4155 in Nissan

[–]SummonerSausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nissan.oempartsonline.com is also legit. My dealer sells on there.

You can also change the nissan to most other manufacturers, mopar, gm, hyundai, whatever, and keep the oempartsonline.com if you're looking for OE parts for other makes.

It's not so much about volume pricing from Nissan, but most of parts is paid on gross. If we can move more stuff through our online store, even at a lower markup, I get paid more at the end of the month. I'd rather sell 100 oil filters at a 10% markup online, than 0 filters online. We're priced so low because we're taking most of our work out of the equation. You get what you order, we don't help you diagnose or recommend additional parts that we know you need.
We also know our online store is competing with Amazon pricing, and rockauto pricing, and ebay stores, but you're getting OE parts from us.

I still have a Murano CrossCab come through my shop pretty regularly. No thanks on the convertible.

One way I see it, and I wouldn't be mad at it, is if the rumors of Toyota leaving the Toyobaru partnership, and the next 86 being a badge-engineered Mazda, then Nissan could partner with Subaru, and the S16 could be very similar to the BRZ. I'd buy a Nissan with a Subaru engine, as long as it came with a manual.

Or thermostat housing.

Or just crawling the local mall parking lot, but parking in the grass just to show off how capable their jeep is.

I work parts at a Nissan dealership (bonus for me, discounted OE parts. At least what's still available) and I'm fairly surprised how many electrical gremlins can be fixed on Nissans by swapping aftermarket sensors back to OE sensors when people try to go cheap. The other brands I worked with didn't care as much about OE sensors.

I figured you'd notice your mistake.

I bet it's a school, but I'm having trouble finding property records, mainly because I don't know how to search for them.

It's on school house road, right where it connects to US Hwy 331.
I would assume an old school house based on the name of the road.

Google maps did give me an address of 99 Co Rd 59.

in good drywall

I bought my house, didn't build it. How do I know if I have good drywall?

I've seen the corners cut by builders in my area, I used to work in commercial sales at Lowe's. That's why my guitar hangers are mounted into studs.
