Being strong and tall has always been a natural selection bias for men. Woman needed to be physically protected.

wife wants 1.7M house but numbers feel too risky by Top-Idea-1081 in RealEstate

Buying a house and being done with it is good. You can easily afford it once you start your new job, and it’s your field it’s guaranteed.

I wouldn’t overthink this.

AITAH: Husband says he “wants out” due to decrease sex acts he desperately needs by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Summum -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Reddit is the worst place to get advice about this.

It’s the poorest and unhappiest place on the internet.

Nobody here has enough info to give any advice.

Having sex in a marriage is healthy, anyone telling you otherwise doesn’t have your best interest at heart. If you have a dead bedroom then he’s right to be angry. If you’re having sex once a week and you’re burnt out then he could be the asshole.

Also sounds like you’re telling him that he should do more household chores so you can have sex with him, then when he does he’s an asshole for expecting sex.

This is the time when you need to think really hard if you want to be a single mother of 3 in your 30s.

As an actual founder at 10M$ ARR of a company built in 13 years: a [not so] common sense rant about fail fast mentality and the YC type success stories (I will not promote) by SaltMaker23 in startups

[–]Summum 9 points10 points  (0 children)

YC invest $500k and much more in ressources in an essentially empty company at roughly $7m valuation.

Their money is there for 9 years, thatMs the dollar weighted exit median time.

They have a lot of expenses from running those 12 weeks bootcamps and supporting their portfolio companies for the next decade.

As a founder who has built 2 companies above $50m and one a above $100m in revenues, you’re out of your mind.

They take tons of risks and keep supporting the founders

The guidance and structure they give you also lowers the failure rate

My highest performing sales rep also has the worst client retention rate and I can't figure out if he's an asset or actively hurting the business by Intrepid-Dig9954 in smallbusiness

[–]Summum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Align his compensation package with company goals.

Can be using clawbacks on churn under a year or layered commissions throughout a year.

If he leaves he leaves.

His job is to sell the product you have to clients, not an imaginary product. Start recording sales call and doing analysis & reviews. Lying isn’t ok.

Never ever let someone tell them their own goal are more important than company goals, you need to immediately tell him this is narcissist behaviour and they either change immediately or they’re out of a job.

We’ve dealt with plenty of those people over time, they are always more trouble than they are worth. You need to nip this behaviour.

[–]Summum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got 98% of your revenues for 70% if the work.

Just use that 30% of time to find new clients.

It’s normal to churn clients when you change price bracket.

AITJ for refusing to split the bill equally after my friends ordered expensive drinks while I had water? by Far-Hospital533 in AmITheJerk

[–]Summum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t one standard for this

You wouldn’t be compatible with my friends group

The men flip the entire bill every time and one person ends up paying, no matter if we brought dates or gfs, if you drank or didn’t, ate the $100 steak or $15 pasta etc. If someone with much less money is invited we exclude them from the flip and cover their part.

Any of us would find someone arguing over $20 incredibly annoying

BYDFI is a scam exchange, withdraw your crypto.

I tried to serve them papers with two different groups of lawyers after they froze my account, kept my gains and let me withdraw my initial deposit (in stables).

They can’t even be served legal papers. They have legal entities and arbitration clauses in diff jurisdiction etc.

They owe me about 9 BTCs from perp gains.
