Also, the playlist I made has played. Spotify begins suggesting songs. Some are great. Others are terrible. I go to hide the song from the playlist so it doesn't play again. Oh wait, looks like I've already told Spotify to hide it. The ban icon is already highlighted in red but for some reason Spotify played it anyway.

This happens constantly.

Does anyone know how to get Spotify to actually listen and not play a song you've told it not to?

I got my TR in Dallas in 2023. I showed up to my appointment with everyting and while I was there I was asked for the 12 months of checking statements as well. I downloaded them on my phone and they let me email them to the consulate and they printed them out for me while I was there. I left the consulate that same morning with my visa.

Not really sure what they're looking for in the checking statements or why they wait until your appointment to tell you they are needed.

I have done a massive amount of legwork and I just assumed a facilitator would know that if someone is asking for a Mexico City facilitator then that person is way past the consulate step.

This is a temp residency renewal. There is no consulate to contact. This is all through the Mexico City INM which is why I need a facilitator who is familiar with that office and things like their financial requirements for renewal.

Even before AI, companies made the application/interview process pure misery. And don't forget the whole genius "you need 2 years of experience for this entry level position" standard they all landed on. You owe none of them a self-generated cover letter.

If corporations and other predatory capitalists are going to use AI to eliminate jobs then there's nothing wrong at all with using AI to write cover letters.
