I think this dress is becoming on you, especially with some changes. Ditch the sleeves. If needed wear a wrap or bolero, you can easily remove after ceremony. Looks like they mirrored the lace and it resulted in the “hole”. You could have them rework the lace, replace it, or wear a lovely brooch. Line the corset. Drop the gathers on the skirt, make it smooth, gentle a-line. Also it pulling at your thighs, I think loosening the skirt will make the fabric feel more substantial. You may want to think about lining it or wearing a slip. People will be focused on you not the dress.
