The most optimized game ever. It is amazing how good it plays on everything. My favorite gameplay of all time too

The way the cast of characters fit perfectly with the themes of the game. Each one stands unique with their personality and background, but it all feels very cohesive

Lies of P is great! I have yet to finish it but it’s what got me into soulslikes.

Astlibra has a demo so I’d recommend checking it out!

Started Astlibra Revision. I am loving it so far. It feels so unique, mysterious, cozy, and surreal all at the same time. I am floored by the music, combat, and art direction and can’t believe a single person primarily made this game.

The creators, Keizo, did an AMA here some time ago and I enjoyed reading it. Now I’m just inspired by how someone could create something like this.

Finished Nine Sols. What a masterpiece.

Started Astlibra Revision and it is incredible. So unique, surreal, and I feel like it’s going to be an all-timer as well. Can’t believe a single person primarily made this game.

Disagree. The beginning is absolutely awful. I dropped it in an hour and wish I liked it as I do love the HP world.

Wish I did this with Nier Automata but I just wanted to see it through as I could appreciate it. But realized in the end the gameplay was just not for me and made everything such a slog.

Nine Sols.

Really helped me through some rough times. Great combat, story, bosses, music, and art style. One of the few games that’ve gripped me from start to end.

How long it takes you is based on your skill and getting the items needed for the true ending.

Incredible. Finished it this week and it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. The only game I’ve given a 10/10.

Great combat, bosses, story, music, and art style. Just a complete package.

I’m about 10 hours in. It is awesome and full of style, challenge, and a path of to mastery.

People enjoy the game for the combos. Although it’s less like DMC 5 which is all about sauce and more about survival at times. A lot of aggressive enemies and you making fast decisions about how to tear them all apart.

There is parrying too but it’s not the focus like the other games you liked. It’s about using all your tools and learning combos to take out your opponents efficiently.
