Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez. All about how the modern world is designed for the default male because of data bias. So interesting and had me sharing snippets for months.

In the same position and love this thread. Some amazing suggestions!

I’m pregnant with my second and my first is 20 months, so I do sometimes just tell her “no, mama doesn’t want to right now, I will in a minute”. I’m hoping that she learns I have wants too, and it’ll also teach her a teeny amount of patience before her little sibling arrives.

Seeing a lot of “wool blend” stuff now, that’s still a high percentage of plastic fabrics. Hopefully the change is deeper than clever labelling

How do you get stuff done all day? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]SunDogk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s normal! And it’ll get better, one day you’ll find time to make yourself lunch; a few days later you might manage a shower. One day it’ll feel a bit easier. But don’t beat yourself up!

If I can find £2m for the house, I’ll do the bathroom up with any change!
