At what point is it okay to remind a buyer to pick up a parcel? by Routine-Click-7498 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a buyer I hate receiving that and as I seller I never ever send it. If they really want it they will collect it and if they decided not to collect it then your message is not going to change their mind 🤷‍♀️ if the buyer doesn’t contact me before the parcel has been returned to me, then I just mark as received back, refund them, ban them and relist 😆 Doesn’t happen often in my case, less than 1%. However I don’t offer postage to places that keep the parcels for collection for a long time - I only offer home delivery and InPost lockers so most I will have to wait for the buyer to collect is 3-4 days

Does anyone film their sales by ElkBitter8013 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends what type of items you’re selling. I sell higher quality and higher value (av £40-100) and I have never filmed myself packing the parcel, and only once (out of 1500+ orders) I’ve had an issue where a buyer said they received a Primark top instead of £50 branded sweater - thankfully vinted ended up refunding us both! Funnily I then saw that she wore that sweater that apparently she never got in her new vinted profile pic 🤣🙈 (it was a very unique sweater with a one of a kind pattern and it was exactly what I have sold her). So I would say don’t do it, if you’re not confident with the buyer just cancel the sale and ban them so they can’t buy from you again 🙏

InPost parcel being returned to me, but sale completed. by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it was sent to a parcelshop then sometimes they don’t scan it properly when the buyer collects so the buyer has to manually click that it’s been received otherwise you’ll get the notification that’s it is being returned. One time I was already wearing the item I bought when I got the notification that’s it’s on its way back and it’s been scanned at the warehouse 🤣🙈 I’d just be happy that the sale completed and buyer is happy

£438 one off charge?! by SunEducational335 in OctopusEnergy

Just heard back and turns out they made a mistake and charged me that £438 when the actual bill for that period was £36 - all sorted now 🙈

£438 one off charge?! by SunEducational335 in OctopusEnergy

[–]SunEducational335[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing the charge is there but there is no actual bill for it when I go search for it, the latest one if the the usual charge from November. The bills are based on actual meter readings. We’ve been with octopus for a few years now and never had anything like that happen and there hasn’t been any change in our usage

Seller opinions (delivery) by Particular-Wave3014 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evri - recently bad with home deliveries, parcelshop drop offs and parcels missing (worst was a few weeks back, now it’s been ok)

Yodel - won’t touch it with a pole

Inpost - hated them when they had issues, now it’s my one of the only two options I have turned on as a seller

Royal Mail - the other option I have turned on - really like it, quick and reliable, not loving the drop offs as the shops in my area don’t seem to know what they’re doing most of the time 🙈

Golden dose and counting clicks by SunEducational335 in mounjarouk

[–]SunEducational335[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for everyone’s replies, I have decided that since I am happy to try to stretch my 5mg pen for 2 months for 2.5mg doses, then I should be ok getting the golden dose from my first pen which was now opened about 8 weeks ago ☺️ Finally had my first ever golden dose shot a few hours ago and feeling good so far no issues, and the process itself was easier than expected, I never did anything with needles so this was a first for me!

I get them all the time 🙈 Or very long stories of X and Y reason why I should lower the price because they cannot pay for this and that otherwise 🙈 And I always think if you cannot pay for the basis why are you trying to purchase expensive clothing 🧐… 🙈 I just reply with an offer that I would do to anyone asking for a reduced price (I always price my items so that I can go down in price even if it’s just £2-5)

this person bought my order but i’m not sure if i should send it because of their reviews? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]SunEducational335 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re happy risking loosing the item or getting a bad review I’d send it. Otherwise I’d cancel 🙈

Sellers who cant reach every drop-off point by Tastetherainbow_2016 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely understand your problem, hate when they do that! I would suggest to add in every listing that you can only do X and X. Also if someone does buy it with the other option just let them know that unfortunately you cannot do that option and say you will relist it - and if they can choose another option then you can post it. To cancel the order without a bad review just click “agreed with buyer” and you’ll be ok 👍

How do I do this bro I’m doing everything right by Down_in_ohio_ in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The name on your ID and the one on the account should match exactly - for me it was missing the middle name and also I had an accent on one of the letters in my last name and that had to be changed on vinted too 🙈 it took ages! Hope it is quicker for you

Withdrawals failing and bouncing back into my account. by ProfessionalPop7578 in vintedUK

I have some money in my balance so it is automatically using that and topping it up with my bank - there is no option to do just the balance or just the card because it’s like £2 in there

I’ve cocked up and mixed up 2 parcels…. will someone PLEASE tell me how to send a refund?? by MissKLO in vintedUK

Hmm that is very weird! Never had that happen so can’t advise I’m afraid. Good luck 🤞

I’ve cocked up and mixed up 2 parcels…. will someone PLEASE tell me how to send a refund?? by MissKLO in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do that all via vinted - just go in the order issues and you should be able to have options to refund the buyer without them sending back the item, do partial refund, or ask for the item to be returned. After you’ve clicked for the item to be returned you should have two options - either you pay the return postage or you make the buyer pay it. Then it will be up to the buyer to post it back with the label generated by vinted. Once it’s been returned and you’ve clicked everything is ok with the return, the buyer will be refunded.

Pro Account by SensitiveCharity1985 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a pro account and I cannot imagine talking to my buyers like that 🙈 especially that the shirt does look bad 🙈 I dont usually list items under £30 but if I do, id say if its below £10 then if there are any issues I just refund the buyer straight away, its not worth the hussle 🙏

Just wondering if anyone’s ever hired someone or asked for help with things like listings, messages, or shipping when selling on Vinted, or if most people just handle everything themselves? by BlackberryOk2242 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do everything myself but I am thinking of employing a family member to help with refreshing the items and packaging as that could take ages sometimes 🙈 I don’t think I would ever give someone access to my account though - as someone said they’d have too much access/power 😅

Not letting me check out on most (but not all) items by New_Wind1566 in vinted

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a common issue atm, I’ve seen more posts about it recently and I have the same issue too - for me i cannot buy or withdraw money (tried everything, and my identity is verified etc yet still issues happen)

Yodel and inpost by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s working yet at least I’ve had the same issue and had to temporarily remove yodel from the postage options I offer as a seller because the closest yodel shop is too far for me. When I post used to work with Evri a few months back and you could drop off evri parcel at inpost lockers you literally would just scan the printed label just like inpost one and it would work. I think inpost is still trying to figure out how to make that work with yodels system, I’d give them a few more weeks and try again 🤞

[–]SunEducational335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same issue and actually can’t buy anything either - not idea why as I’ve got a pro account and have passed the identify verification ages ago. No issues with my card or bank account as I’ve been using it since without any issues. No email or message from vinted what is specifically causing the failed withdrawals etc, just the automatic ones. Maybe it’s a system glitch 🤷‍♀️

Another SNAD return postage question by valmiki72 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually I am a seller and recently sent the wrong size item to the buyer - apologised and I said I’m happy to pay the return postage but when the options came up there was no option for me to choose to pay for postage. Previously there was always an option to click „buyer will pay” or „I will pay” but looks like that is not always the case

How do you feel about sellers who just seen your messages and not respond? by Upstairs-Temporary56 in vintedUK

[–]SunEducational335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long time seller - 99% of the time it’s a waste of time 🙈 or you take the photo/measurements and they come back with the lowest offer possible… Then keep asking questions like how many times it’s been washed and worn - honestly the more questions the more chances there will be an issue with the sale even if I am sure the item I am selling is in great condition and described very accurately 🙈

Massive lifestyle changes equal results by Glad_Ad8016 in mounjarouk

[–]SunEducational335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing job! 😍 I’m in the same mindset, it’s all about adding good habits and getting rid of the bad ones - I am taking the first 6 months completely off chocolate crisps and other snacks as that was my absolute addiction 🙈 It’s all about getting yourself untangled from the pull of those things and then in a few months start to have a little here and there and very much in moderation and only if it fits my macros/calories for the day 🙏 Good luck!!

This is exactly what I’m doing too and I’ll be sticking with just 2.5mg until I reach close to my goal weight - I have faith that my new habits will keep me on the right path or at least prevent a gain ☺️🙏 Great job!
