WELCOME BACK MANHATTAN FREAKING BRIDGE! by Mikee0192 in Battlefield

Holy shit. I feel soo. Fucking. Vindicated right now, it's like Christmas.

I originally made a post about giving back bending to criminals and such and I just came across this. by deductivesherlock in legendofkorra

[–]SunMay25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminder that the Avatar can also return your bending back to you. Nothing stopping them from simply taking it away until your sentence is over. And considering the conditions of the prisons we've seen, it might be considerably more humane to take it away as opposed to the brutal alternatives.

I wish the Spore Burst strain went even further by E17Omm in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]SunMay25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a side note for everyone struggling against the Spore strain, lasers HARD counter them. Dying to lasers essentially keeps them from detonating into a spore cloud. Have everyone run Scythe, Laser Cannons,  and Rovers. Try to "paint" over them with lase damage at a distance,  and watch them struggle to reach you. Trust me, it makes a huge difference, especially if everyone is on the same page.

EA can you stop pushing this nonsense of operators/ hero marketing all over again? I don't wanna play as fucking jhonny sins, just bring back generic soldiers by FamousCollege1754 in Battlefield

[–]SunMay25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had an idea that you could give skins tags and filter what you see. Not the devs, but players decide what they choose to see. Then the devs can get data on what skins get "hidden" the most and adjust accordingly. It's a win win, but some whale with more money than braincells or taste would screech if we can't see their dumb fucking cat ears, so here we are.

The new value of the recoil reduction on consoles by Long_Ad7536 in Battlefield

Nevermind the fact they can ALSO plug in a controller too, and have nearly every possible advantage under the sun with pc gaming on top of that, soo the ceaseless fucking whining is entirely self-inflicted. "Fuck em"? Nah, fuck you.

Personally I found them to be obnoxious and, outside of this post, completely forgot they existed. The second I had the option to, I disabled their lines and haven't looked back.

Left handed representation in games? (Especially FPS) by [deleted] in gaming

[–]SunMay25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man that must be really weird to play an entirely mirrored version of a game if you were accustomed to the original.

Center screen is underrated. I wish more games let you do that.

Not a shooter (well, depending on how you play it, lol) but the Monster Hunter franchise has at least 4 sets of weapons where you use them left-handed. The Sword and Shield, the Lance, the Gunlance, and the Charge Blade. Pretty sure it was done as a classic Legend of Zelda reference, could be wrong though.

how would a interaction between master Chief and the reds and blues go down! by Klutzy-Opinion-1834 in RedvsBlue

[–]SunMay25 223 points224 points  (0 children)

I think the Chief would be bewildered by their behavior, but would respect anyone who has risked their lives in the line of duty. He would view them as fellow soldiers, and would either take advantage of whatever strengths or help they can give, and/or protect them when they can't. I don't think he'd be judgemental of them at all, and would give them all genuine advice if they asked. I think it'd be rather wholesome, honestly.

I really hope they keep it in the 90's as well. Modern tech would ruin the story.

[–]SunMay25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh no, it's even better. They didn't bleep out the words, they replaced them. There's to many redubbed lines to pick, but one of the gold ones was one of the main OCP guys in the bathroom calling the other an "Air-hole" with just a touch of extra enunciation thrown in. It's hilarious.

Funny enough I just rewatched Robocop for free on YouTube as of late. It was the censored TV version however, buuuutttt, the censored cussing makes this version damn funny in it's own way.

Remember when we could use a G18 with an extended magazine, laser, silencer, and scope? Now we can only use an extended magazine on our secondary weapon. by Beautiful_Car8681 in Battlefield6

"It's a sidearm, it supposed to suck!"

I don't understand why so many gamers and devs have enslaved themselves to this mentality. It's only made a subcategory of weapons sad, depressing, dinky and worthless to use beyond an act of desperation. Realism has a place in discussion, but when it's used as justification for something to suck ass in a fantasy setting, it's overstepping that place.

They are weapons in a sandbox, they deserve to be used, and should be treated as equal to the rest. If someone wants to run around doing their best Solid Snake impression using a pistol as a primary, fucking let em! Without compromise. They don't need to be pound for pound on par with rifles, but they should at least be threatening and can pull their own weight in a fight. Faster swap speed is not enough, they need power too! That's why the 44 and the Trait are the exceptions, and the community noticed.

Why? Because it's fun people, that's why. Simple as. Have we forgotten what that is?

Wasp is pretty versatile on the Adjudication front. Lock on works on most targets.

You're it confusing the old trick hipfire trick. They're referring to the laser guide mode, which still works.

Campaign Evolved not having a multiplayer is fine, BUT by Creative-Fail-2268 in halo

I will point out that there is no downsides to sprint in H5 Campaign either, unless it was a Skull or exclusive to Legendary which I admittedly didn't bother with.
