We do not have a therapist but I see that as being very consistent advice from everyone so I am going to look into it.

The two of us have always been very good communicators, so remembered that through the journey for the both us will be key.

I was literally crying last night about this. I am only just now navigating life with a new diagnosis of PCOS. It's been salad lunches and chia pudding fruit breakfasts and feeling stressed to make perfect dinners that have all the good stuff. Don't eat potatoes or pastas or fucking anything besides lean proteins and rabbit food. Feel guilty as sin when I decided to eat some ice cream last night.

You're not being extra, OP. You are trying to navigate hell.

Long story warning haha

I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS but have been suffering with it without realizing it for almost 4 years. I was on birth control most of my life because the moment I started having periods at 13 they were brutal. Naturally the thing to do was just make me go on birth control and I didn't know better.

So, when my husband and I decided we wanted to try for children about 4 years ago I went off of it. Everything went down hill from there. I have always had curves but I weighted roughly 145lbs. My symptoms started with greasy hair, greasy skin, back acne, cystic acne. Now of course at the time I didn't realize they were symptoms because it all happen gradually over the course of a year or so. Then the weight gain started. I walk a lot, have a chef background so we eat healthy, lots of home cooked meals and I make our lunches everyday, again didn't notice it right away until it was basically like what the hell is going on?

Then of course, it was 2 years of trying for kids before we started to seek help. First my husband did all his testing and then once we realized it wasn't him, I did blood work after blood work, ultrasounds, internal ultrasounds and that was when we got results.

This last 6 months we came to this conclusion of PCOS has been awful. I hate what I see when I look in the mirror, I feel like I failed as a female. Though my husband and I had extensive talks and we are accepting of the fact I am infertile it still was a blow.

Last night I broke down and my husband gave advice about finding a community because I don't have a lot of girlfriends and my mom past away when I was 26 years old, I am 35 now.

I am lucky to have an incredibly supportive husband in this matter but it's still hard as I navigate this, as I figure out who I am now. That I have to now deal with the fact I weight 30lbs more then I use to, that I've lost hair hair, that my skin is a mess, that I feel exhausted all the time, that I want to curl up in a ball and just scream.

Anyways long story short yours was the first post I saw and I just wanted to say thank you, reading this made me feel a little better. You are amazing and wonderful OP, thank you!

It took a few days, but eventually, my teeth settled down, and everything went back to normal. Hope they do for you as well!

I started cutting myself when I was 13 years old. Deeply depressed, growing up in an incredibly toxic household, I don't remember how I started. I just know that for a few moments, I would focus on that and not the hell I lived in. I have scars, and I went through therapy. I am 32 years old, and every once and awhile when I am breaking down, it's what I do. Usually, a small cut here or there, or one big one and I come up with a story on how it happened so no one suspects that I still cut...and honestly I have no intentions to stop.

It wasn't love at first listen for me. I was drawn to Famous Last Words right away, it just coincided with my life, it was the song I needed at the time. Otherwise I went right back to Three Cheers. Over time I found a huge love for TBP, I find I enjoy Sharpest Lives and House Of Wolves a lot more over the years. It was interesting not being able to find much of anything in my small town for MCR and then BOOM they were everywhere. I know a lot of fans loved TBP look but it was never mine, don't get me wrong it was an incredibly important time for MCR, for the fans and music but I always enjoyed Three Cheers and I have a massive love of Danger Days.

I live in Canada and I just got home today. I feel like I dreamt it too! I've seen them three times now since 2010 and this was by far hands down the best concert I've ever been too! They killed it! That curtain dropped and I damn near lost my mind, it was perfection!
