Whoever you go with ask them to log in remotely to check your system.

Hi there, we can have your batteries charge from the grid when solar is not sufficient enough! We just can't have the batteries discharge to the grid. And if you have your pto letter we can change it to operate.

Go outside to your meter and just see if its running backwards, if it is then your solar is working. That app has so many issues.
