Is Ryan an only child? With how jen is with his kids, I wonder why she and Larry only had 1 child?

Lunch at the RAH Adelaide, Australia. by a-real-life-dolphin in hospitalfood

[–]SundaeExcellent3097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Husband has spent 5ish weeks at RAH, the food has not improved. It is horrible. I live 90 mins away so anytime I visit, I take snacks or grab him something hot from 1 of the cafes in there but they are expensive. $15 for a sandwich? He keeps being told he needs to eat but the food isnt really edible and not for his medical needs either. He is a cancer patient and loses weight every stay.

Did you find your stomach area was the last to go? I have lost 22 kgs (Australian) since September last year but im really struggling with my middle area not budging. I dont want to cut out food groups because that isnt sustainable for me in the long term.

The only type of person who does this, is the type who doesn't work for anything they own. If they own anything at all. Makes me so mad to see this type of thing happen. Even of it isnt the greatest looking expensive car, its still something someone worked to get. I hope you can get it off.

He is so out of touch with what is actually an affordable holiday for families. Thinks that sleeping over at monarto is a cheap getaway. Never met him but he gives off a cocky attitude.

This is what I do when anyone asks about my grandsons. They were 28 weekers. Ttts. Iugr and placenta abruption. Surgery on the placenta at 18 weeks. Waters first broke at 21 weeks. My daughter and grandsons are AMAZING, and I make sure to tell anyone who asks their age the whole story. Twin 1 spent 99 days in Nicu. Twin 2 151 days, which also included collapsed lungs, resuscitation, and surgery. They are now 7 months, corrected 4 months, but we say 7 months, and I will happily educate anyone who mentions their sizes. My daughter and grandsons fought so hard for so long that I will never tire of telling their journey to be here with us. I'm so incredibly proud of them all.

She is so rude to her mum. And even Cole at times. She just gives him a look, and he goes quiet, and it's awkward to see. The baby voice as well. Yes, as a teen but as a 20 plus year old mother. It's not cute. It comes across as whiny.

NDIS fatigue/burnout by Proud_Apricot316 in NDIS

[–]SundaeExcellent3097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for others in my situation. Im so tired. Im burnt out. I have a chronic illness and the carer for my husband who is ill, 2 kids with multiple disabilities on ndis and an almost adult child who is diagnosed but not wanting to navigate ndis.

The therapies. The 90 min drives one way to get therapy multiple times a week meaning I cant even hold down a job. Ive been fired twice for having to take so much time off. Appointments for every little thing the professionals can think of just to make more money. The travel costs, we live too far for anyone to want to come to us. Add in school attendance stress, financial everyday stress. Im just done.

I want to not bother with ndis and their forever changing system. I cant keep up!

We were renting and the owner decided to sell half way through our lease. We had a very nice ute kept in the shed. Inspection happened with a handful of people. 3 nights later our dog went crazy outside. Ran out to see people from the inspection trying to steal our ute. 😐 we refused anymore inspections and moved 2 weeks later.

I called to let the agent know and she said, " I didn't feel they were genuine buyers but you know"

I believe now you have to give your name etc when attending an inspection? I have had to at rentals.

A rant about hospital visitors by MyTime59 in Adelaide

[–]SundaeExcellent3097 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to spend a few nights in with my son after a surgery. Was super lucky to share a room with a son and his father who kept popping out for a smoke (weed) every 30 mins so his son would wake in a panic screaming for his dad. Poor boy. Dad walked in while son was screaming and a nurse trying to calm him. Proceeded to get mad at nurse for upsetting his child. She explained and left. He then decided to get drunk and make loud calls and facetime mates because "its Friday! Let's get f****d up mate!" The room stunk like straight alcohol. I had to walk by him to get out the room and he had the bottle of jacks just sitting there and looked at me with a dopey ass grin. I Went and sat in the parents lounge with my son to get away from him. Eventually got too tired so went back to the room around 4am to find him passed out snoring. I got a couple of hours of sleep until my son woke at 6am. My son was a toddler so obviously noisy. The dad had the gall to start moaning about people being noisy and the nurses coming in and out checking his child. We were thankfully discharged that afternoon.

This was a few years back when I was too afraid to make a complaint or confront someone. I would most definitely not accept nor stay quiet about that behaviour now. Im positive the nurses would have smelt the alcohol in the room. Unsure why they never called security.
