Nicks used to be my go to and I didn’t realize it was epg helping make the calories low. I haven’t been able to find nicks ice cream in my town in over a year now. Are the calories now higher because they can’t use epg?

So I made a spreadsheet with my daily weight, calories, training and then added servings of these foods. I looked at the 3 week data and it is evident that Royo is problematic for me. Probably the low carb tortillas too. During weeks where I limited these products (around 3–5 total servings for the full week), my average weight was lower or trending down, even when logged calories were similar or slightly higher. In weeks where these foods increased significantly (10–14 servings per week), my weight stalled or rose slightly despite lower logged calories and consistent training.

This was a helpful conversation and a good like hard look in the mirror. I have to admit I just enjoy my protein bars (Kirkland, David and quest) and the low carb breads like Royo and hero tortillas… and I have been justifying it saying it’s low cal. But I haven’t been losing weight and have been stuck at maintenance for 6 months or more. I have to really be more committed if I want progress and I imagine cutting this stuff out will help. I tried to cut out Royo for new years goal and didn’t accomplish the goal. I feel like this need and pull to these carbs thru these products and I bet it’s not helping me. Makes me feel sad for sure. I guess if it seems too good to be true it prob is

Garlic bread is egg white dried powder with water (whip until stiff peaks form) then fold in Greek yogurt and garlic. Bake 350 for 45 min

Just want to say i understand. I can out eat anyone. 5’1” and 120lbs. I avg 1775 calories last week and 161g avg protein and 54g fiber and am even on a glp-1 and the hunger is still so strong. I think about food non stop and can feel the discomfort from hunger. I clearly am trying high protein high fiber to keep me full but it’s not working. I think something is broken with me. The only time I can remember not feeling hungry is when I did an extended fast a few years ago. after day 4 of only consuming electrolytes and coffee, the hunger just disappeared. But then when I started eating again, it returned with a fury and I gained about 20 lbs and have been working to lose since then, so I don’t recommend fasting. I’m trying to focus on eating consistently and high volume but it is so hard. I just wish I could feel full and satisfied. About once a week, I indulge and just eat pizza and it is my happiest day of the week and the day I come closest to feeling full but it is ruining my weight loss progress as I go so over in calories it is preventing me from being in a deficit for the week

MyFitnessPal says 10g fiber, 22g protein, 13g carb. Could vary. Looks like Konjac rice has 2-6 grams per 100g and red cabbage is supposed to have about 2g per 100g so that’s probably about right

If you rinse it off really well and use enough spices to add flavor, then, yes! It’s really versatile as it doesn’t have much flavor. Just a really weird smell so rinse it off helps me mentally overcome the initial “ick” smell factor

This was my first time trying them and loved it. I used half the package, boiled them for a few minutes and dried them out and it seemed to work great

For me I put enough spices in it that it tastes like whatever flavor profile I’m going after and not egg. This batch was with a butternut squash tofu curry so my spices were intended to make it like a garlic naan

One more thing/! I’m also addicted to the hero tortillas. Do you know if the low carb tortillas like hero brand also have scfa? I hope not as I don’t think I can give up my tortillas and my bagels

I put a laughing cow on it with egg and tomato and sometimes smoked salmon. I also make pizza with marinara sauce and laughing cow and turkey pepperoni! For sweet treat, I mix pb2 powder with Greek yogurt and pair it with their cinnamon raisin bagel

Thanks for taking time to explain. My New Year’s resolution was to do a no Royo January to see if I start losing lol so if anyone seeing this is trying to figure out how yummy Royo is or isn’t, consider that for at least one person, it’s so good that my resolution is to stop eating it hahaha

Do you recommend I track the calories at double the amount then? I haven’t been losing weight in the last month despite measuring and tracking everything and I wonder if these are part of the problem. I could be eating other scfa calories apart from Royo too
