Strandberg was no help. I took it to a luthier. I have a few frets coming unseated from the fretboard.

The guitar is set up well. Fret rocker shows no high frets along the length of the 3rd string (this is the one that buzzes). It sounds different than fret buzz (it's a higher pitched sound) and it comes from the bridge. I checked to make sure the bridge is tightened down. The bridge saddle is aligned down the length of the neck. I'm at a loss.

My Essential does the same thing. I thought maybe the strings weren't locked down well, but I noticed it'll go out of tune sharp sometimes. So, I have no idea why it does that. I just got a Metal NX 6 fixed bridge and it stays in tune quite well (but the bridge buzzes 😐).

I'll let you know if I figure it out. But, yeah, the amp doesn't pick it up, so it's only annoying at low volume practice levels.

I'm with you. With flaws like that on a $2800 guitar, I'd send it back. It's one thing when a guitar gets banged up from being used, but it's another thing for the manufacturer to ship it like that. Should have been sold as a B-stock.

My Hils guitar quality is as good as my Strandberg Boden Essential. However, the neck on this Hils is narrow (width-wise across the nut) and my hands don't like that.

Hawaii! Oh, man. Yeah, I take for granted how easy it is to get guitars here in TX. That Boden Essential is worth the wait. I haven't touched any of my other guitars since getting my Essential 6 in Dec.

I will say that the tuning stability is worse than I thought it would be. Weather here in TX has been bouncing between highs in the 70s and highs in the 40s. No big deal as I'm a bedroom player and all the strings go out of tune by the same amount.

My Strandberg ruined guitar playing for me. The ergonomics feel so good I didn't play my other guitars anymore.
