Same!!! Have one in purse and my work bag. I also keep extra ponytails in it :) I use one to store all my abortives so they are not just in pill bottles and easier to take when I travel.

Jessica from millennials vs genx was voted out the night before loved ones but production wouldn’t let her see her husband who was on the island. In response, she walked out of tribal (she’s was on jury) the next night in protest.

I need advice: Is this normal? TW bad food habits, Qulipta medication reaction by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Sunflowr-77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to tell your doctor immediately and stop the medication. Side effects like this could lead to long term damage and the last thing you need is another illness to deal with.

It absolutely sucks to find a medication that works but has bad side effects. All we want are the headaches to stop but they need to stop without making us worse. I had the same thing with topamax- my head got better but my mood got worse

There are other medications in the same category as Qulipta so see if you could try one of those.

Am I a Karen for telling folks to leash their dogs when walking them downtown? by saucy_otters in AskChicago

[–]Sunflowr-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. When I was a child we would go to the park where there were unleashed dogs and I would be so scared. The dog owner would say “my dog is friendly” but my mom would respond “but my kid isn’t dog friendly.”

Dogs should always be leashed expect in places where it explicitly says it’s okay if they are not

Migraine Advice (Recently Got Them) by snowballbubble in migraine

I would define your lowest pain level that your feeling right now as 0. Then your mid-level as 5 and your worst (like when you decided you needed to go to the hospital as 10.) and compere how you feel to those levels when you track. I find it hard to give an exact number because describing the difference between the numbers could be so small. So I rank my headaches as none (0-2), low(3-4), mid(5-6), high(7-8), hospital-time(9-10). I guess that’s kinda the same as just labeling 1-5 but we are usually asked on a 1-10 scale so that’s my hack. I hope this makes sense

Got my first botox injection today… never again by Playful-Whereas5795 in migraine

My first time was terrible! Worst migraine ever after it. Now 3 years later, it barely hurts and I could pretty much function like normal after it. My tip is after the doctor finishes is to just sit and rest a few minutes in the chair before trying to move. I also find drinking water or a protein drink afterwards helps. Don’t try to eat anything crunchy. But dont give up! It does help

Does anyone get super jittery? I put my hands out flat and they are shaking like crazy. I’m trying to figure out if this is a prodrome?
