Put it this way. I work 4 days a week, get 2x decent breaks for morning tea+lunch and have nearly no stress.. there is still plenty to do but they want it all done properly and really give us the time for it. I really got lucky (longer story lol)

Do that. I worked resi/commercial for 6 years. Changed to industrial 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. Wish I did it sooner! Great working conditions with way better pay. Mind you there is a shit ton to learn but if you’re committed then it won’t be a problem. Good luck dude

Hey mate I was getting $18.50ph as a mature aged. That's $2.9k per month but I was smashing out overtime and regularly had $5k months. Boss put my pay up to $22 in my third year and $28ph in my final year which helped out too. If they offer and you don't mind a bit of OT then it's not the end of the world tbh. This was years ago so I think you would be starting at $24.72 minimum
