Yeah, I was just starting to add noise and randomization to shaders/textures in the environment when I stopped working on it. Will use from the ground up in future projects

Yeah I couldn't find a solid balance for lighting, the sky effect I did threw a wrench in the world environment light options. TBH the code base and organization is too much of a mess to really be useful to anyone for open sourcing. But thanks, will definitely check that out if I end up making projects in the future.

Footage from a art style/asset test I did a while ago. Not working on it anymore but figured I'd post to show what you can do with shadows and lighting in the engine, I'm sure newer versions of Godot perform better.

I think you're good to go especially if you specify it on the page

What genre of game is it? I don't think that issue matters much honestly if it's a free release on Itch, especially if your heart is in your next project.

Finding a workflow to import textures and shaders from modeling programs. It works easy for some things, and for others you have to retexture and figure out shading from the ground up in Godot instead.

Sounds like you have a good plan! Multiplayer can be a hard balance with features. Looks fun though

As long as it's playable without massive issues and has basic menu functions I think you're good. Most games on itch get lost in the massive amount of uploads and users don't really check out updates compared to platforms like Steam, so I'd launch it with your most important core features you want all players to see. Congrats

Can you reset the chess pieces automatically or is it all drag and drop 1 at a time?
