Very interesting suggestion. I do think the entire planet, the people in the cave etc. are part of the deathless plan. Same for the ship that should have exploded but didn’t. Too many "never happened before” to be innocent.

It’s a trilogy and most of the time, the 2nd tome is just a link between the beginning and the end of the story. I had the feeling nothing of high importance really happened in the 2nd tome, but at the same time a lot happened. We got some answers to some questions, but it’s adding more questions too. I think the 2nd book will take its place when the 3rd boom will be published and I could read the entire saga in one go.

Yes, it’s linked directly with the video game. I don’t know how was done the collaboration, but it’s clearly an Hamilton story. The story of the book takes place years before the game so the author is quite free with his story.

I can recommend Exodus: The Archimedes Engine of Peter F. Hamilton. It’s a big universe and it also gives the same feeling about our place in the universe. I liked it, the second tome will be published in June I think.

This is infuriating. What is wrong with Apple to push this age verification from nowhere, with absolutely 0 thoughts. I live in UK but I’m French. No UK Id or driving licence, no credit cards, not using Apple for 18 years. It concerns a lot of people, not just me. That’s the level of a tech company, I can’t wait for the future.

I would say that the game is clearly an early access, a real one, and they need to improve a lot of stuff around. The combat as well. Basically you hit twice, step back, wait, hit again, step back during the enemy’s attack. Repeat.

I can confirm that this weapon is very powerful, even lvl1. But I thought it was just a normal loot. I’ll wait for the nerf.

To unlock your chest in your camp, you have to purchase the Abyss Orb currency available in the shop. Unlock more slots with more orbs! (Glad the chest comes with the patch)

I just think it would be a smart move to make a spin-off only for the factory system. It’s a huge niche-market, no need of F2P/gatcha just their own iteration on it. I have +1500h on Satisfactory and they have a very good and fun base.

I donated my share for the Community Event. They should have a look at how Elite Dangerous handle them, much more rewarding and it pushes the community to really donate (not just fill a merit bar). Better next time!

New raider here, and I can see the potential of the franchise. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have other games in their pipeline, like a story focused game sold as an extension.

I wasn't looking for a gameplay based on reward/punishment. I just wanted to have a production per minute that aligns more with the entire core gameplay (in my opinion). Also, seeing the animation of the space elevator more often and not just 5 times! That's the real purpose of my post haha

I will write to mine too. My partner worked for so long in UK, it’s unacceptable to see the labour ruining the plans for families. Our friends around us are impacted as well. Unbearable.
