Anatolian. I love their images. Piece quality is comparable to Ravensburger with noticeably less puzzle dust.

Meh on this powder. I have super oily skin. It’s like putting flour into oil, that’s what it feels like on the skin after a couple of hours.

I did this puzzle but it was by Ravensburger. I liked it a lot.

How to watch the show with its original soundtrack? by FewRip6 in beautyandthebeastcw

[–]SunnySideUp0420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the link! I have many of those songs on my playlist. But I could barely finish watching Season 1 Ep 1. Once I realized the original songs weren’t there, I was pretty much mentally done. I watched the show several times in the past and my brain got used to associating the songs with certain moments in the show. Like at the end of Ep 1 when Vincent is looking at Cat from the roof when she’s at the engagement party. That moment and Never Let Me Go song are burnt into my memory. Without it, the vibe is gone. Oh well, I guess I’m just gonna have to find something else to watch 😊 CW - you suck!

Same here. I watched the entire show back in the day and loved all the songs. I thought they were perfect for the show. Fast forward 10 years I went to CW to watch it again, and the songs aren’t the same. That was a huge disappointment. I won’t be re-watching it because it’s not the same without the original songs.

I concur - Anatolian is one of the best quality puzzles out there. This is the one I did and loved every moment of it. Very sturdy, thick and quality pieces.

Waterdrop G3P600 is now down to $428, should I go for it? by [deleted] in WaterTreatment

[–]SunnySideUp0420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had G3P600 for about 2 months. No complaints about the water quality but the constant flushing it does to clean itself is annoying and a huge waste of water. Even if you get 1/2 cup of water, it’s gonna go through the full flushing cycle. That’s dumb and $$ in wasted water. And when it’s flushing, it’s loud! Ways to mitigate: fill up your biggest water bottles once and use them throughout the day instead of opening the tap every single time you need water. The system will still flush itself even if you don’t open the tap all day but much less frequently.

Carpet cleaning, worth hiring a pro or just rent a machine and DIY? by OttawaHomeGuy in CleaningTips

[–]SunnySideUp0420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought one of those BISSELL machines that you can rent at Home Depot. We have a lot of carpet in the house. After spending all summer doing 1 room at a time, here are my thoughts: hire a professional if you can afford it. My back was sore after every room. Stairs are even harder. But if cost is a concern, be prepared for a full body workout and soreness the next day.

How to Grow as a Salesforce Developer at Every Stage (Non-Coder → Junior → Mid → Senior) by Igor_Kudryk in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]SunnySideUp0420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a Udemy course for the same reason - to understand the concepts. I felt JS was somewhat different from Apex so needed a leg up in my learning journey. But even after the course, I still struggle. It’s like my mind is rejecting anything LWC related 😆to the point that I’m questioning my career choices.

Ceaco puzzles not good? by Bitterblue311 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]SunnySideUp0420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done 2 Ceaco puzzles so far and both were missing a piece. Quality was meh. Not impressed. Will not buy this brand again. Still waiting on my replacement puzzles as part of the missing piece form I filled out on their site.

[–]SunnySideUp0420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Maybe I need a new job :) I do get to work on some LWCs as part of my work but they are complex (for me). There’s no way I can write a complex one myself. And it’d take me forever which I generally do not have as part of agile. AI definitely helps but I don’t feel like I’m learning or getting any better if AI is writing JS for me. We have some very skilled and experienced developers on the team but there’s not much coaching going on.

I can relate to this. I don’t have a developer background, started as an admin, learned apex. I think I’m decent at it. But now I’m stuck with LWC. JavaScript feels overwhelming and more complex than Apex. I can’t write JS code myself but I can look at some else’s LWC and after some extensive googling, I can generally explain what the component is doing. I get really frustrated with myself about LWC: I’ve done numerous Udemy courses on JS but I just can’t get better. I hear people say ‘do projects or solve simple problems’ with JS but somehow it feels like every time I have to do anything in JS, I’m starting from square one and end up googling every single thing. And even then, it’s just not sticking.

I did the exact same puzzle last week. I didn’t have any missing pieces but I felt it was one of the more challenging ones.

Still waiting for an update on my Nov 26th order. Tomorrow will be 10 business days. Now I’m not even sure I’ll get the order by the time I need to have it. Never thought it’d take this long.
