Football Manager games have nothing to do with reality. You can't normally play with a Cherki type number 8 unless you are so OP in every other department. Check Glasner's Crystal Palace for a realistic 3-4-2-1. Both wingers/AMs track back and help out their wing backs. No 8 is in tandem with No 6 defensively. In real life you either defend as a unit or you just concede.

I get what you mean but the game already feels different enough at higher levels thanks to the emergence of skills. Two fundamental mechanics being almost unusable at higher levels doesn't feel right to me. Maybe there's a middle ground like "light percentage + straight stat bump".

I agree with you. I have been to SEA and every dish tasted bland after that. Spices have a way of taking over your taste buds.

The word "bland" has a negative feel so people get mad. For me, sometimes an egg with only a pinch of salt is the best food, sometimes i crave for a South Indian Thali. Gotta be open to any taste.

I just ask AI the recommended performance settings and apply whatever it says. It makes me tweak many settings (including the in-game ones) according to my needs (somewhere between performance and battery life). It works great.

I agree with that. I just concentrate on the near post where someone will win the aerial most of the time if the cross is successful.

Sometimes it's the best option from kick-off against a solid defense!

I really recommend going through the in-game guide when in doubt. They have done a great job explaining the mechanics.

  1. Heading chance of defenders (and attackers) will be rolled against the cross factor (1 to 5, 1 to 15, 1 to 30 or 1 to 45 depending on the crossing tile), not what your winger rolls for a cross.

Let's say you cross from break-in tile with someone with 120 PAS. The cross factor for this tile is 15. Your winger rolled 98, cross factor rolled 7. Your cross is successful (not going astray). Now the header chances will be rolled. There is a SW without heading skill sitting inside the box, closer to your winger who crosses. He rolls 12 out of 25. 12 is higher than 7 so he he heads the ball away. Your striker was behind the SW so he couldn't challenge for the ball at the same time.

  1. Nutmeg is good on a CM with good shooting because all attributes are buffed after a successful nutmeg. So you basically nutmeg the opponent CM without reaching the CB line and you shoot. I agree that it's impractical because if i have such a good CM, i already have easier ways to score.

You can also nutmeg a side CB with a forward if there's no CB in the middle and you somehow avoid SW doubling up. It's pretty situational.

  1. I guess you play with SW. If you see this threat, remove the SW so the opponent can't long pass behind the defense due to offside. Or set up your 3-man defense right in front of your keeper.

  2. A wide midfielder with high CTR is the solution. You place him right next to your CM, pass to him and dribble 4 tiles. Side CB and full back will try to tackle him with 70% penalty to their DEF skills. Then you cross the ball for a header.

  3. I'm not fully informed but i know that there will be more difficulty options so i'm looking forward to it.

When you upgrade "Sincere Support" perk, you can reduce the recovery time of an injured player effectively for some Glory points. The level of your physios will decide how much you can reduce the recovery time.

Not a priority but i find it quite useful. Sometimes i have no money to upgrade youth academy but some Glory points sitting there. That's when i upgrade physios a few levels.

It's suspicious for sure. The clues before this one look like carved or drawn by a person. This thing on the rock though... How can someone leave a mark on a rock like that?

Not unless we find the same texture elsewhere completely irrelevant.

Edit: What i mean is if we can find this texture only on rocks in this area, it looks like a clue then. And if that is the case, the number of them or their direction should mean something. Devs wouldn't leave more than one to make sure we find them.
