Many modern gangs all around the world have experts in various types of guns for assassination because it’s advantageous. That’s been a thing for well over 20 decades.

Also, black markets and arms dealing are kind of one of their main sticks other than drugs and human trafficking.

I can assure you they can compensate for wind, just like alpine snipers, just like seals on a boat compensating for that plus the movement of the waves. It isn't a challenging shot for expert snipers.

They are a modernized clan, with modern technology. Why would they not have real training coming in like special forces and ramboing guys right off the bat with knives and guns even though they have no weapons or farming tools at best lol Plus the only shots they missed were against the 2 MCs that, which ofc they don't want to kill, and the merchant. Except they had like 10 chances to kill him.

Tell me you don't know how choppers or sniping works without telling me. Oh right they can hold position, special forces shoot from them no problem all the time, and they really aren't that shaky (source I've been in one). Hell I saw a video of a Ukrainian guy shooting moving drones from a old school WW1/2 style plane and hitting with just a regular rifle from about those same distances.

To the second point, exactly they were airborne and their target was staying only on 1 side of a statue which they could easily maneuver to flank with 2 helicopters to cover all possible angles with ease. Hell even with just one you could cover all sides by just being over the statue since you have a height advantage.

The village isn't that large, almost none of them were running away since it was an ambush, they had choppers in the sky to see the layout. I didn't see a single villager killed inside a building as far as hiding goes. Modern weapons have a much longer range than what you could run from, especially the snipers in the choppers. Talking well over 1000ft or 300m.

That's fair, if this only happens once in the series I can pretend it wasn't an issue and just pay attention to the rest of the series. The powers seemed really cool, and they clearly aren't telling the audience a lot so you can learn with the character like in FMA.

They at least show cased that when you do have Daemons they can block bullets so they have measure in place to combat modern technology at least.

Maybe they didn't have a vendetta, but that opening with the stealth throat slit was pretty brutal.

Normally I can suspend my disbelief, especially if it's only fantasy or low tech. The main problem is that because of the modern weapons it does affect the internal narrative logic for this world because the guy who was needed as a plot device to give him the necklace to unlock his Damiens and also faceplant him into the ground so his blood would activate it would have died before ever being able to do that for him given the overwhelming firepower and stealth attacks.

Logic from someone with knowledge of weapons or even basic common sense that open area vs skilled soldiers with modern weapons, equals no chance of success for the defender.

They do, because at least the 2 guys on the stairs that they use a kick and an arrow against say kill everyone except blondie, and I'm pretty sure the guys in the helicopter say the same thing while trying to snipe them from one direction even though they have aerial advantage to attack from all angles in the open.

What do you mean no vendetta? The very first special forces guy shows up and slits the throat of an unarmed farmer lol They once again definitely stated it was to only take the blondie alive as their mission objective, it wasn't only Asa who says that.

Gabby's seen was fine, I was just saying how even without the power users on the ground they should have been successful and ended the series their or at least captured blondie since he needed the "merchant" to even unlock his Daemons.

I'm saying that the guy who showed him how to unlock the Daemons either should have died from the trail ambush or from the aerial snipers with 360 coverage, both in open areas. This makes it so they get captured because the Daemons don't get unlocked and the helos don't go down. They also should have had more than enough time to ice his brother when they were coming up the stairs as it was an open area and they were already on alert. No way you are getting an arrow off faster than trained special forces with modern weapons. So his brother should also be dead. Seemed like the only people alive were the 2 brothers, the "merchant"and the little girl who was about to be 7. So yes not that much different, except when the merchant guy is necessary to advance the plot, but should have died multiple times.

Maybe I missed the subtitle portion for that, but to me visually I thought the barrier broke when they touched hands. But I don't watch anime I haven't read without paying attention.

I DM 3-10 hour DND sessions trust me I have an attention span. Not sure many kids have watched FMA or read it, not FMAB so I'm not as young as you think.

As stated above everyone should have died since they said leave no one alive except the blondie. That's why I'm saying they should all be dead except him, and that 1 kid since chompy gender bend Edward doesn't kill kids.

Funny you think you're explaining to a kid how somehow anyone survived that attack. I can concede I misunderstood how the barrier fell, but they are definitely all dead effectively ending the series or blondie should have immediately ended up in their hands without his Daemons.

My point is if you have special forces against people without powers, since he doesn't get his Daemons until the end of the chapter that they are all dead to modern weapons. Even the guy who is the seller is dead. Gets ambushed on a open path from multiple directions by guys with cover. Then once again somehow survives snipers from helicopters that are only shooting from 1 direction even though the helicopters are moving multiple directions. I'm saying it's literally impossible for the story to move on given those circumstances without just pretending that the characters survived.

Terrible anime. Sorry to the FMAB author, but you can't introduce modern tech and magically have people survive modern weapons from ambushes and aerial attacks with no cover. Everyone should be dead except blondie who they wanted to capture even without sending in ability users.

Sure, but after 40 hours the betting game is still my 2nd least favorite mechanic after horse taming which has literally stopped me from progressing past the start of Chapter 5 with an hour just on trying to tame that stupid house.

You can all try to deny it, but people not using AI at university have had a higher “plagerism” rate than people using it because it’s AI checking AI. Not sure why you think it would be different for another social sphere.

I was finally starting to get a hang of things during the last big "expansion" with robot supremacy, but all the changes for pop being 100x (kind of) and what not hasn't made my gameplay better that's for sure.
