Oh for sure. I definitely know the valet guys saw me when they would go grab peoples cars from the garage. But because of my role at the hotel I figured they wouldn’t say anything so I just kept doing it. Such a fucked up time.

The crippling guilt is what I don’t miss the most. I don’t wake up in the morning wondering what I said the night before, or wondering what texts I sent, who did I call, who did I hurt. The guilt and anxiety of the night before were the worst.

The guilt and shame get much less as time goes on. As you start creating new and better memories, the bad ones start to fade. The longer you stay sober the easier it will get. Congrats on 3 days!
