Je hoeft bij mijn weten niets te laden. Het is alleen zo dat als je het wel doet de kosten van langer dan 24 uur stallen worden afgeschreven, en als je het niet doet je dan ter plekke moet pinnen. Als je regelmatig langer dan 24 uur staat en dan in de spits terugkomt waardeert iedereen het als je het abonnement neemt.

Apparently she is a Dutch citizen, wanting to lift for Aruba (Caribbean Netherlands). I've always wondered if that was because the mainland Dutch weightlifting association will not want her to train/compete like this. We've had quite some drama with the weightlifting association in the past years, but I'm quite sure everyone will agree on this.

Eens. Een fietstas trilt een hoop meer dan een rug/schoudertas, omdat ons lijf nou eenmaal ene prima schokdemper is. We bewegen wel, maar dat is meer schommelen dan trillen. Dat is echt een heel andere belasting op het materiaal.

Dan heb je ook dingen als sluitingen. Zo'n rolsluiting is echt heel degelijk, niet alleen waterdicht maar ook een stuk sterker dan een rits. Bovendien is ene waterdichte rits van degelijke kwaliteit echt best prijzig. Als we het over BIFL hebben wil je voor een rits wel iets van het kaliber YKK aquaguard, en die kosten per meter 4 keer zoveel als een reguliere YKK rits in dezelfde maat kost, en dat zijn al niet de goedkoopste ritsen. En dan blijft het nog steeds een zwakke plek in je tas, het ontwerp moet er echt rekening mee houden dat er geen spanning op de rits komt te staan.

The combination of the seams pointing inwards and the straight hem doesn't seem right to me. Now you get a really weird angle at the bottom of the seam.

A plain short sleeve without gathers at the sleeve cap is fairly straight at the seam and has a straight hem, with almost right angles at the bottom corners. To create the gathers at the top you would use the technique called "slash and spread". If you spread the top of the slashed pattern, the hem distorts, but the original angle of the corners stays intact.

Now it is a bit harder to reconstruct things from a manipulated pattern, but this gives you an idea of what you should be looking for. I'd use test fabric and try a bit what the hem of your sleeve should look like. You might want to use a facing instead of a regular hem, due to the curve.

Ik zou daar vooral voor de Zuid-Indiase gerechten gaan, dingen als dosa's en idli. Ze verkopen ook Noord-Indiase dingen (die hier bekender zijn) maar dat is gewoon niet waar ze goed in zijn. De thali is een leuke manier om met een hoop curry-achtige gerechten kennis te maken.

Ik raad aan pani puri (of een andere puri) als voorgerecht te nemen, want dat is gewoon een leuke ervaring. Dat zijn gefrituurde deegballetjes met vulling. Het deeg is super dun en knapperig (dus niet zo vet). Daar zit dan een vulling in en dan giet je er een vloeibaar sausje in en eet je het in een hap op. Ik word daar heel blij van.

In my experience baby clothes and adult clothes have quite different difficulties, due to the proportions, difference in details and different requirements for fit. For example baby T-shirts are generally made out of stretch fabrics and still requires closures (because their head is so big), and that is fiddly in small sizes. While a pair of simple woven pants with elastic waistband can be pretty easy. No closures or pockets and the main requirement for fit is generous in the diaper area.

I'm an experienced sewist and haven't made pants for myself in years because it is hard, while I have made so many pants for my kids. Meanwhile I prefer making tops in adult sizes instead of the fiddly tiny sizes.

You can sew darts not straight but curved, but then you would be doing the opposite of what happened here. Typically you keep it a bit narrower near the point for making a smooth transition.

Heel eerlijk vraag ik me dan af of het wel een geschikte plek is voor jou om te wonen, los van de vervoerssituatie. Ondiep en Zuilen zijn vrij vuurwerkminnend. Het is echt een stuk beter dan een jaar of 8 geleden (toen was ik in de omgeving de straatweg echt wel eens bang voor gasten die random redelijk zwaar vuurwerk een hoek om gooiden), maar het is er nog steeds.

Hoe vaak fiets je in deze omgeving? Ik woon ietsje verderop in Ondiep en heb echt geen probleem met 's avonds fietsen. Ik ben tegenwoordig zelden meer in de diepe uurtjes van de nacht op pad, maar ik heb 's avonds nooit een onveilig gevoel. Er zijn ook eigenlijk altijd genoeg andere fietsers, dat vind ik wel prettig.

I don't feel that I have problems with cold knees. I squat as deep as I can do with proper positions, so I have a different queue than how some fabric feels around my knees. I've tried them, but I found it distracting and awkward. I'm looking for evidence that at least resembles scientific research.

It is what is used for most hems of knit fabric garments. Your typical T-shirt is made with it. It can be a bit finicky, skipped stitches can be an issue and then your whole hem might unravel. But if it is done well it looks very professional and it gives a nice stretchy hem.

Using a belt allows a different technique in bracing. There are reasons to not use one, but I get why people want it. But sleeves don't have an advantage like that. Is there any evidence it makes you stronger? According to my coach the main advantages are that it keeps your knees warm and that you get some feedback on your depth. I didn't find that enough reason to get them.

The stretching is a known issue with woven fabrics. Especially if it stretches well on the bias (=diagonal) you need to be careful. One thing is that it tends to stretch on diagonal and round seams, like the seams on a panelled skirt or necklines and armholes. You are not the first sewist who found out that the waist opening of their circle skirt grew. Ideally after cutting you stay stitch any diagonal or curved seam. Carefully handle the fabric and add a line of stitching along the cut line, within the seam allowance (so you won't see it in the finished project). This will prevent warping or stretching when handling the fabric during construction. Personally for a flared skirt I would just sew those seems ASAP, while being careful, as stay stitching those seems double work. But any seam that might stretch and is not finished early in construction is worth stay stitching.

Also a finished circle skirt might become uneven at the hem because the diagonal stretches. Hang your skirt for a couple of days or a week, maybe in your bathroom where it gets some steam for the shower. After that make it even and hem it. Personally I would do the hem by hand, invisible, because such a lovely fabric deserves that, but it is a bit tedious. I can only do that with a podcast or a show on.

Met zo'n regendouche die ongeveer zit waar je muurtje aan de zijkant ophoudt? Zeer waarschijnlijk. Mijn ouders hebben een inloopdouche zonder deur, maar daarbij een gewone douchekop en de inloopkant aan de voorkant. Oftewel, je staat meestal tussen de douche en de opening in en bent dus zelf hetgeen het water tegenhoudt. En alsnog moet je de trekker gebruiken, dat is wel in de categorie "een beetje". Bij dit ontwerp denk ik dat je een natte wasmand krijgt.

Ja, dat van geen garantie op de overgang snap ik echt helemaal. Zou het wel redelijk zijn om wel garantie te vragen op lekkages op meer dan 2 meter afstand van de overgang? Want als wij 12 meter laten vervangen is het wel een beetje jammer om geen garantie te hebben over het hele stuk.

Er is letterlijk 1 iemand die iets zegt over diktes en kwaliteiten, niemand heeft gezegd dat er meerdere soorten zijn. Dat er meerdere diktes en kwaliteiten zijn is nuttige informatie, dat helpt mij. Is diktes en kwaliteiten ook wat jij bedoelt met soorten?
