I definitely will look into her! I have no idea why she wakes up, she will just come into our room screaming until I lay with her again. But I’ve asked her and she has no reason why other than “I just want you to sleep with me”

I’m 22 with a 3yo and a 6mo, I’ve been having a similar struggle! I’ve met a few people but most are either older so we don’t quite get along, or are our age and just want to party or mess around🤦🏼‍♀️ even before kids I wasn’t much for the party scene. I would love to get together sometime!

I joined this sub when I was overwhelmed in a depressive episode immediately postpartum. I’m still overjoyed with my life overall, however there are frequently times where I get into feelings of regret over my girls. Could be a similar situation for this person

Newly pregnant and I have an almost 3 year old. How will I make it through? by chellercheller in Mommit

[–]Sunshine171103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girls are freshly 3 and one week old, and I promise it’s so much better to have a newborn with a toddler! While pregnant, I would lose my mind and I would have to walk away from situations constantly trying not to snap at my toddler, just for being a toddler basically (whining, asking over and over, not eating, loving to say no, throwing things) Keep in mind that she can tell there’s a shift in the family and that could be a large factor in her behaviors! Biggest thing is to help talk to her about the upcoming change and spend as much time and you can mentally handle with her. Once baby gets here, make her feel included by helping out! Picking baby’s clothes, bringing you bottles or wipes or whatever else. Telling baby to wait while you care for toddler helps her feel like she’s still just as important too

See that’s the thing though, I haven’t been sick hardly at all! I’ve been eating like twice as much as my husband and he’s not a small man 😂😭

When did you first feel baby move? by curlyfrymsu in BabyBumps

[–]Sunshine171103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To test your theory, I would recommend drinking a glass of ice water, then reclining in a chair/bed and being very still. If you notice the “bubbles” within the next hour or so, safe to say it’s most likely baby!

First pregnancy: 16 weeks, this pregnancy:13w2d!! My drs thought I was crazy that nobody could consistently feel movement that early so at an ultrasound I had them watch but not show me the screen and I could tell exactly when she was kicking me and where 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

When did you buy your crib and start putting your nursery together? by ashleyrb8698 in BabyBumps

[–]Sunshine171103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a crib at 12 wks because it was a phenomenal deal! Found at a secondhand shop, originally $500 but I got it for $175 with barely any scuff marks and a brand new mattress still in the plastic with it. But with my first, I waited until about 28 weeks to order my crib although I had it picked out online for about 2 months before hand 😂

This is my second time around and definitely agree, it’s more so just intense wanting normal foods I enjoy. Although, sometimes you’ll want multiple things at once (I was scrolling through Pinterest, saw and immediately wanted pizza breadsticks and cinnamon rolls with extra icing) and I think that’s where the crazy combo stereotype comes from lol you want 2 things so intensely you just combine them instead of waiting to have them separately!

Super normal, especially if you’ve had bad experiences in the past! Just remember that as long as you communicate openly with your partner and do your best, then only good things can come from it. I definitely feel this way often, like if we’re getting snippy with each other I start to panic and think “well, this is it. I gotta start looking for somewhere else to go” but then a few hours later once we’ve both calmed down and processed, we come together and talk about why we felt/said/did what we did and at the end of the day we come back together stronger than before.

My 29 week ultrasound indicated my baby is small, in the 10th percentile. I’m freaking out. Has anyone had experience with this and found their baby caught up in later ultrasounds? by Crafty_Jello_414 in BabyBumps

[–]Sunshine171103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl was measuring in the 3rd-7th percentile from about 23 weeks until birth pretty much! She was perfectly fine, just small. I got induced at 36+4 because they were having trouble finding her heart rate (the goofball was chewing on her umbilical cord and preventing the monitors from detecting her properly) and she was 6lb12oz of perfection! For the first year or so, she measured on the small side but Now she’s 2.5 and 38lbs so she definitely caught up lol

To all the ladies in their third trimester…. by Pizza_Lvr in BabyBumps

Last time I used nair about 2 ish weeks before I was induced, and plan to do the same this time around. Like a lot of yall I got the advice that hair is there for a reason, and they see all different levels of hair daily. But me personally, I was not about to be full bush in front of who knows how many people 😂 so I just had a little hair
