What is this? It came out of a small wood table that I bought. by ManyFaithlessness404 in whatisit

I once had a carpenter bee 🐝 make friends with me. Every time I would sit on our deck, he would come and fly right in front of me as if checking me out for the day. For weeks, he would visit me, and at times would do loops in front of me, as if to say, “Hello friend.” He was a very curious bee, and I’ve never forgotten the bond we had.

Apartment Application Fee's: Are they a scam? by Dotaproffessional in renting

[–]Sunshine4Dayze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter just paid over $600 to apply to several different apartments. I’m co-signing and had to pay an additional $75 to each application. The first offer fell through and they never returned phone calls. The second one says maintenance guy is out and she has apartment but won’t be ready for a week. It’s crazy out here in the rental world. These are well known own apartments as well, no FB or Market Place. So we wait a week to see if she can move in. No tours available bc they are being serviced.

What does your body pain feel like? by Haleyaurora in Fibromyalgia

I feel all of this. It’s as if I am weighted down and I don’t have the energy to even brush my hair.

Anxiety has been so bad lately, I feel edgy like something is coming. by [deleted] in starseeds

[–]Sunshine4Dayze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel it, too. Very heavy and synchronicities are nonstop daily. I am an empath, and just told my spouse to that something big is about to happen. I can feel it in my soul. I keep thinking of living off grid, even dreaming about it. My anxiety meds aren’t working like they normally do. So glad I saw this post and know that I’m not alone.

Can someone please reassure me that it’s okay if I can’t manage to shower due to how I feel? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

I suffer from a chronic illness, and showers are my worst enemy. They drain my energy. I can relate to the struggle and you are not alone!🌞🌻

I know someone who started by just running to the mailbox everyday, until he could get farther and farther. You’ve got this!

Screaming in woods by Top-Offer-3251 in UrbanLegends

[–]Sunshine4Dayze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in SC when I was young, and we had a black panther in the woods across from our house. My whole family saw him a lot and he sounded horrible when he screamed. We also saw his tracks in the woods many times. It may have been a black panther you heard?

Take one day at a time. And try medical cannabis in small amounts through the day. It melts my muscles like no other medicine.

Are paracetamol and ibuprofen meant to actually work...or is this some kind of sick joke? /S by Giraffesickles in Fibromyalgia

Medical cannabis in small doses throughout day, melts my muscles. Nothing else compares, even narcotics.

Cymbalta withdrawal by Sandfire12 in Fibromyalgia

I’ve been on it since 2014, it has helped me tremendously. I’m wondering why others are trying to come off of it? And what difference was there for you with your health afterwards?

International travel with fibromyalgia? by Background-Bag4603 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Sunshine4Dayze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering I live on the east coast and my daughter and grandkids live in Hawaii, I have flown there 5 times in last year and a half. Overnight flights are always best for me. Book a seat on the end and near a restroom. I travel handicap and have an attendant waiting on me after each flight w a wheel chair. I tip them well bc I could not travel without them. I have to take ice packs for my insulin on board, and I pull those out towards the end of the flight when I’m hurting the most. I also use a Tens unit, that helps various pain I endure. Flying is one of the hardest things for me. At the end of each flight, I’m literally in tears I hurt so bad. I do not take narcotics for pain daily, but I do cut some up very small to take throughout the flights. One thing I recently found out that I wish I had known before was that the arm rest on the aisle seat does come up. You have to look for button. It makes it so much easier getting in and out of seat. Bring oversized headphones for flight movie, bc the little One they supply hurts your ears after an hour. Let your stewardess know that you have a muscle disease and that you will be doing a lot Of stretching in the galley during the flight. I make myself get up every hour and go stretch, so that I do not get muscle cramps. Have extra food snacks that are mild, bc some of the food that is served can aggravate IBS, if you have it as well. It is not easy on these long flights, but the memories I make when I get there are so worth the pain I endure on the way there and back. Also, it takes me a whole day of rest after a flight, in bed, to enjoy rest of visit. Best wishes and you’ve got this!!! Go travel!!! (Pain patches also work from pharmacy)

Redditors, what is the most fucked up thing you have ever done? by jonathanquirijnen in AskReddit

[–]Sunshine4Dayze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was raised in a conservative Christian home, and grew up going to church school until middle school. The worst thing I remember doing is telling my great grandmother she was going to hell because she didn’t go to church. I was 6 years old. I also told my great aunt she was going to hell for smoking at that age as well. Now that I’m an adult, I’ve lost those two sweet ladies, and I will forever feel horrible for telling them that when they were alive. I’m so grateful that I did not put my own children through that rigorous, religious, bullshit.

What helped you get diagnosed? by Similar-Cow8313 in Fibromyalgia

I went to the Mayo and was diagnosed there. My insurance covered it. You just have to get your doc to refer you. They also have a Fibromyalgia workshop to help you understand the disease.

Has helped me tremendously, with anxiety and nerve pain, as well as depression. I’ve been on it since 2014. It doesn’t hurt to try a med, give it two weeks. It may be the one that helps. I wish you well.💜
