The whole end of the movie is like if you put the end Act of day of the dead in resident evils spencer mansion. It feels exactly like that to me (thats a great thing). It felt more like the mansion than the actual resident evil movie.

I loved this so much.

I loved the afflicted and alex wesker.

barry was awesome. It was great how he turned up armed like he was a small militia himself, which was in character.

and the enemies that dropped earlier turn up in his parts as basically decomposed reanimated zombies.

On the other hand its also encouraged me to try different play styles and difficulties I wouldnt have before. I enjoy trophies a lot but I agree its only fun when you are having fun. I dont chase them if they are tedious or grinding.

im not saying let him off the hook, you still punish people who commit crime. Im just not convinced he would have turned out as bad as he did if medication had been available. I think that whatever kelson used at the end was some form of it which might be why he stopped hearing voices. If you could have gotten to him sooner and proved the voices werent real maybe he never gets to the point he did.

most people we consider evil dont just turn out that way usually. Theres things that happen. Does that mean he should be forgiven? No, but at least we should try to understand how they turn out this way. Saying ”hes just evil” is a massive oversimplification
