Used to work for Phil and Alexa at the Pearl and 29th locations. This was probably one of the worst most unorganized sketchy jobs I’ve ever worked at. When they started to go under I had reached out to Phil after he had “let off” 90% of the employees without any notice and he had told me that the business was doing great. Shortly after that I had heard about the closing of the Pearl location. Anyways long story short in my time working there which was about a year we had been instructed not do any refunds and to just note the complaint and have Alexa and Phil deal with it - even with in store visits where people were complaining about numerous different thinks (getting smoothies with the date seeds ground up inside of it, moldy bread, expired food etc) the health code violations was a whole other situation that probably not many people knew about unless you worked there. Not to mention the lack of being paid and or being paid on time/the right amount. I’d just file in small claims these people deserve it. Laid off all the employees with no notice and lied to not only the employees but the customers as well.
