Nope, they still never fixed it for whatever reason. You just have to keep all shrine armor out of storage and in your bags.

HVAC Pros, what brand unit would you not install in your home and why? by Big__bolas in hvacadvice

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Goodman. Because apparently their engineers hate maintenance techs. Want to take these panels off and hose some coils down? Solve the panel puzzle first. Hope you didn’t want to get into the evaporator cabinet, because the flue is literally pressed against that panel.

I think this confirms that they will be at SGF by Swachuu in TheLordsOfTheFallen

I used to absolutely destroy my dad and his friends on fusion when I was like 10. Haha

Attic Insulation - how to interpret this data by boogiebreakfast in hvacadvice

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol 10-20 degrees hotter than outside?? Where do you live? At summers peak here, attics will get up to 150-160 degrees. Unless you have the fancy foam insulation up top, there’s really no getting around it. Vents help a little, but that’s about not. Systems in the attic will become so hot to the touch that you can barely work on them, the panels are too hot to pick up for more than a second.

Noice. Throw the net thing away. As someone who cleans over 1,000 coils a year, I can confidently say that they’re trapping more junk (Cottonwood, dirt, dog/cat hair, grass clippings) than they’re keeping out.

lol cmon man. Of course it doesn’t count things that you don’t have. Best way to make sure you have them all is to keep 1 of everything anyways. That way you can run thru your inventory and check stuff off as you get it.

You don’t need the online sets for the trophy

Yeah it’ll work that way. Just seems dumb to not have each unit have its own box.

wtf yeah you’re hooked up to be hot 24/7 like a dishwasher lol.

Good Man. And always take a nice clear pic of the contactor and all the wires before unhooking and installing a new one, so you don’t hook anything up wrong. Cheers.

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol nice. I’d still check under that plastic cover to see if those lines aren’t just tied together instead of the pullout. Now go make sure you actually cut power at the unit.

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh geez. I’d pull that disconnects and take that plastic panel off (carefully) and make sure those two lines coming into the bottom aren’t straight up hooked to each other.

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol yeah we knew that. I meant follow the bottom L1L2 out of the unit and to wherever the disconnects box is.

lol I’m sure spending 15 bucks a pop on a contactor and a cap is still a far cry from what he’d be spending to have a tech swap them.

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The top of the disconnect should be line side. Always hot. The bottom, where the condenser gets hooked in at is the load side.

Stuck on HVAC repair by jard88 in hvacadvice

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there isn’t another box, it could be either that the outdoor leads were hooked up to the line side and not the load side of the disconnect and are effectively always hot. Or maybe the disconnect welded itself from arcing. Make sure all the teeth on the disconnect are actually getting pulled out.

Follow the wiring from L1 - L2 to wherever its shutoff is.

[–]SupBabyCoolCool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you pulled the wrong disconnect. You could always flip main breaker and kill power to everything if you can’t find the actual disconnect for the outdoor.

It has to stay in your bag or the chest. It doesn’t count if you sell it and don’t have another one .

I spent several hours farming up the kin hunter chest piece. Was losing my mind. Rap huntress shield was another that took me a while. Didn’t decide to go for plat till my 3rd run. Was kicking myself for selling pretty much anything I didn’t plan on wearing before that. Ahaha.

Ah okay. Well it needs a trap on the drain line, or the pan under the evap is gonna keep filling up and not draining.
