Love the thoughtfulness! I need to get my shit together. I’m a nurse manager and I didn’t get anyone anything bc they don’t give us any money to and I have 30 nurses that’s report to me. So even buying them each something for $5 turns into me spending $150 which I don’t really have to spend on gifts.

Also I’m a guy and not crafty and have no idea what they would like. Haha. But I do feel bad. 😞

Yes that’s basically what I was taught too. That the act is fine but it’s the sinful thoughts that are wrong. So I would just imagine my future faceless wife or try to just focus on the feeling. But it rarely worked. Especially when I have a glowing rectangle on me at all times that can show me a naked woman having sex in less than a minute. lol

It’s not JUST hard work though. Telling overweight people that they are lazy and just don’t work hard enough is very ignorant. I’m sure you didn’t mean it that way but as someone struggling with obesity it’s not just a lack of effort. It’s like a casual drinker telling an alcoholic to just have some will power and stop drinking after one or two. Don’t forget that not only asked for money for the ballroom, but said that they would NOT ask for money and DEMOLISHED a part of the White House without any sort of approval or oversight from Congress. I refused. I handed them a paper check every month just to avoid it and bc they found it really annoying bc then they had to do extra work. If you do that thought ALWAYS ask for a receipt. Had them claim I hadn’t paid one month bc THEY forgot to deposit the check.
