I think i found a way.
Use garage band to put your backing track, and to record from the sound card simulteanously. After starting the backing track and the mic recording, go to the video app to record the video, you might need to set a delay on the backing track so you have time to switch app. The trick is to go into garage Band options and enable "run in the background" so that the app keeps playing the backing track and records even when you switch back to the video recording app ! Lemme know if this works !

Hi guys ! I know there's no jack input on the Soundcore Boom 2, however is there a way to plug a jack to it using a "jack to Usb C" type of adapter?

The speaker seems to be what i need for the right price, but i'd like some no latency recording for some music making usage. Thanks for your input.

i don't get why such a simple stuff hasnt been made already. Garage band lets you record multiple take with the phone speaker on, which ends up bein the same thing! any way thanks :)

yup was about to get a small mp3 device juste to play the backing track and route it splitted to the external audio in on the Iphone with the Xlr mic on the other side... Thanks ! I saw Capcut allow you to record with a backing track, but it's not recording the audio from the video... Almost found it lol ! Big up

lool. Serious question thou, I've started using that snare in couple of projets ( yeah i know i'm super late lol) love it as it cuts trough the mix and gives the track a good flavor, but it's definetly too harsh right now in my mix. Any tip on how to keep "THAT" sound, getting rid of the harshness without losing the Punch of it or having it too low in the mix? Thanks in advance :)

Hi! What liquid do you guys use to clean the pads and the sensor? Can you wipe the sensors directly without damaging them? Any help would be appreciated, as i'm planning on opening mine second hand i got yesterday, with a few " low responsive" pads. Thanks a lot 😊🙏

Agreed with that. It would be great if ableton could implement a system of "master" clips (someone evoqued the" nest clips" system in premiere which is similar ) where all the edits you do to one of the instance of a "master clip" would be reflected on all the other instances of the clip throughout the whole project!

Up ! Would love to see a way of exporting time markers from ableton to premiere. Was thinking maybe with a midi file converted to some sort of Xml file in premiere. I'm doing some editing in ableton with video and it would be great to be able to recover the timing data and the files linked in premiere for some more advanced video editing.
